Maskal Teff Ivory Teff Grain, 16 Ounce (6 pack)

I cook this up with half milk and half water as a hot breakfast cereal. It is delicious topped with a little maple syrup and chopped walnuts or pepitas. Since we have Celiac in our family we are strict gluten free. My very sensitive Celiac daughter had no reaction to this teff and we loved it, so win-win.

This is one of the o my foods I can have in my diet right now due to breast feeding a baby with multiple intolerances. I make chocolate chip pancakes with it using plant milk, maple syrup, chocolate chips, baking powder and salt and they are so yummy!!!

I will purchase it again..

Funny the things you miss when you can no longer eat wheat. For me one of those things was the hot wheat cereal I had as a kid. This is a great gluten-free alternative. It's now a constant in our breakfast cereal rotation. Great as a side dish too. I like that it's grown in the USA.

I made it as farina…it tastes as farina but more delicious and richer flavor. Thumb up!

I enjoyed the grain cereal, it's like eating cream of wheat only smoother and hardy. All I added was 1 tablespoon of peanut butter 🥜.I found in the internet receipes to make bread 🍞, pancakes, and muffins.I plan on trying out these recipes beside the porridge style. What a difference in trying out new food.Thank you 😊

Teff is not all that easy to find these days, especially good quality from a reliable source. This is it. "Bob's" is okay, but too pricey and doesn't offer a 5 pack like Maskal does. Teff is more a porridge cereal along the lines of Cream of Wheat or Rice. Maybe that's why it gets a few bad reviews. I have no idea what those people were expecting. It's not oatmeal. I find it has a pleasant mild nutty taste. It does take about 20 minutes to finish, nothing instant about it. I recommend it as another option for a hot breakfast cereal.
