The biggest problem for me is it isn't fun for an excited kid to open a dome one day, the wooden base the next day, the two types of light strand (plug and battery) two days in a row, and so on. The whole thing will be cute when finished, but quite a few of the days aren't fun things to open. As a build-your-own night light, fun! As an advent, it's lacking in fun.Also each door is too small to easily get that day's item out, and too hard for a young child to open alone.Also the single row of dot stickers came before the thick rows and since kiddo had had so little fun so far, I let them go ahead and stick them on, only to discover the next day that that's where the wider stickers had to go as they wouldn't fit anywhere except around the curved part of the base.Also that bag of crumbly stuff should be the Final day.Four stars is because kid likes it and is still excited to open each day, and I think put together it will be cute.

We will use this in December, i think my daughter will enjoy assembling and using the little nightlight. The pieces are just as cute as can be. I checked out the inside to make sure the dome was intact. One or 2 items had moved into other compartments during shipping so i made sure there would be something in every door. On the final night, you get the tube of glue. In other advent calendars that last door is usually the culmination of the whole month, so the best thing in the calendar. hopefully she wont be disappointed to receive glue. Overall I think it will be enjoyed and is a good value.

It is fun for the kids. The glue was a waste and it shouldn't be part of the 25 days of Christmas opening. I used a hot glue gun to put them all together. There were a lot of stuff but very small space to put all of it in there and so we didn't use all of the items. The lights were amazing. Super bright and strong.

This product was super cute and fun to put together. The glue looks like water, but it is so much stronger than superglue. DO NOT let your kids near it. I ended up using a hot glue gun instead of the glue.

Once you put on item on the stand it was already too crowded to add anything else. It really was t worth the month long wait to get everything and put it together

My daughter couldn't wait to get into this advent calendar. The little pieces are so stinking cute. It is so pretty and I have a happy girl.

It is a perfect Christmas gift for girls .
