breaking ball training
ME AND MY GOLF Breaking Ball Putting Mat - Simulate Breaking Putts at Home (11ft).....I am a sucker for training aid to improve my skills. I like this with the distance and spots to use. It is long so I have to clear a path to put it down. Wish it had a back stop so don't have to chase the balls that roll off the matt or when I hit to hard and the balls go everywhere spending most of my time chasing the balls.Star Rating System (What do my star ratings mean?):1 STAR - Completely unusable, would request a refund2 STAR - Meets minimum viable product requirements, wouldn't purchase it again3 STAR - It does what it should, but in a non-spectacular way, I may recommend it, but definitely with reservations4 STAR - I like it. It is solid quality and delivers as advertised, I would purchase it again and recommend it to a friend5 STAR - I love it. It meets or exceeds all of my expectations and is high quality, I would purchase it again and would openly promote it to friendsAs an Amazon Vine Member, I give honest reviews, whether or not it is a good one or a bad one. Excellent training tool to practice breaking putts
The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome way to practice breaking putts at home. I got the 11 foot mat so I could practice at more distances. It comes in a nice travel case and there is a QR code to access the training videos. There are five training videos from Me and My Golf that teach you how to use the mat and learn from. It is a little pricey but factoring in the training videos it’s about right. The training tools from Me and My Golf never disappoint.

Golf tool
My short game is terrible. I love golfing, but putting is a huge failure. This mat on it's own allows me to practice putting any time I want. A bonus is that the three balls included break differently so you can practice different shots. I love the quality of the mat and balls which are heavy duty and durable. I also love it all rolls up in a bag so you can store it away easily.

Works well and fun to use
I bought for my husband as something to use when going golfing isn't possible. He now thinks he is a pro golfer after using this! He enjoys it immensely. He watched the tutorial and took off from there! Well made, sturdy, tutorial is well explained. Worth the money!

Kinda Hard To Get Used To
This takes a bit of getting used to. There is no hole, and there is no pin. This is not a “sink the putt” type of putting training, but instead is designed more to show you the correlation between your sight line, and the break. There are 3 different balls, and each is representative of either a small, a medium, or a large break. The concept is to find the correlating line on the mat (color coded0 to match the colored line on the ball. You hit the ball along the same colored line as the ball, with the goal of landing in a blue colored area I will call the “Zone”. This is where things take a bit of getting used to.In a real golf setting, the slant/slope of the green determines the break. With this practice mat, the mat is completely flat, and the ball itself determines the break (the balls are weighted). I practiced with this mat for a couple of weeks, and after you finally master the concept, the mat and the lines on the mat show you just how far to the left or right you have to hit the ball to land in the “zone”. Again, this is NOT about practicing sinking putts, but more about learning how far out to aim the ball and have it land back in the “zone”..You can also use this mat for Plain Jane putting practice – just use the mat flat, and hit toward the marked “zone”. Landing in the “zone” is the same as sinking a putt. The mat is a very fine quality mat – much higher quality in thickness, and quality of material than normal putting mats. It is rolled up in the box, but unrolls and lays flat with no issues. There are videos you can watch to show you more, and to explain the concepts. They also show you some drills to do.I will keep practicing, and see what happens!

Feels pretty true to a green
My son uses this quite often to practice his putts. He says it is pretty true to a real golf green. And the balls and markings really do help him with his putts. He's good from about 6 feet now.

Great for Indoor Use
I ordered this putting mat for my husband. It is meant to be used indoors. If you have pets, since the mat is black and made of carpet like material… it really is a magnet for pet hair. The mat is lengthy so make sure to take note of the measurements (11 feet x 2.2 feet). I think the mat is too expensive for what it is. It looks nice and serves its purpose, but hard to justify someone spending over $100 for this :(

Essentially just another putting mat.
I believe in putting mats, particularly to practice those short 2/3 foot putts. Crucially, did this Breaking Ball mat help me improve my judgement of breaking putts on an actual green? - No. Not even slightly. In my opinion, the only way to do that indoors is to build a sloping green (e.g. as seen on Sky's golf channel), which is way outside most people's price range!

Professional look, high quality product
The media could not be loaded. This is great solution to practice indoor when weather is not best or simply to train without spending money on golf courses besides of paying for mat itself.Putting mat is really well made. Thick with rubber underneath to prevent slipping on floor and guarantee flat surface, on top reminding me short hair carpet very well condensed and high quality. It has all marking on it such an distance in ft and meters as well 3-color marking corresponding with 3 balls and trajectory of ball it should follow in order to break. It has landing zone as well golf hole, and color coded starting line.Balls are apparently patented and represents 3 different breaks, green for slight break and lightest, red for medium break and blue for heavy break and being heaviest from all of 3 balls. With mat and balls you are going to receive coaching lesson showing technique of putting, different apex when breaking. Despite professional look, purpose and approach with training etc i still believe it is way too much money for this product.

A bit expensive but great for practicing indoor over the vinter season.
If you look for something to indoor putting practice. The kit comes with three revolutionary breaking balls and a putting mat. Its available in two sizes, with 7.5ft and with 11ft long mat. The Mat feels a bit, but it rolls out perfectly flat almost all the way to the edges. The other main component of this kit is the sleeve of breaking balls. Each of the three balls is designed to break a different amount. The colour of the balls aligns with the colours on the mat, showing you were to aim to “make” the putt with break.Additionally, with the mat you get access to a series of mini lessons from Me and My Golf. There are five videos, all 2-3 minutes in length. They cover the basics of set up and stroke fundamentals. While they don’t add much in my opinion, I’m sure fans of Me and My Golf will enjoy the extra content. If you’re seeing too many putts slide past the hole, or if you need to add more variety to your indoor practice, the Me and My Golf Breaking Ball Putting Mat is worthy of consideration. It is more expensive than comparable mats, but the added functionality may be worth it for serious golfers.

something for weekend
well gave to my mate dave to try out as he's the golfer,he said was a good idea, decent size mate to simulate being on a green and taking that final putt, the different weighted balls helped get different shots staight and curved, the added bonus was being able to access 2 proffessionals via online link and learn some tips n tricks from them, he said as for price its a "specialist thing" like all golfing gear aint cheap! but he was in two minds wether he would pay the asking price for it, overall he said cracking bit of kit good for indoors, just the price was questionable..

Good but can't justify the price
This is a fun kit with everything you need to practice golf in the comfort of your home. However, it is way too overpriced for what you get. Unless golf is your ultimate passion and you need to practice everyday, the price is not justified.
