Calvin Klein

This huge volume is filled with so many of the wonderful old ad campaigns from over the years. For many years I had hoped that someday a book of Calvin Klein ad photography would be released and here it is! This book comes in 3 different covers which you get at random. The Kate Moss cover, Christy Turlington & the male underwear model from the early 80’s.

A wonderful book, very nice to read, and stunning photos that takes you back to when the real happenings happened in the fashion world.

I don't mind the paper quality (I actually like it) or the choice of cover... but the book felt short. There's so many iconic pictures from this book that are missing. Like the whole Marky Mark campaign was just like an afterthought (towards the end of the book) like 2 or 3 pages of CKOne...Some ads are doubled in there towards the beginning and end of the book which was unnecessary to place in there twice . I know Calvin Klein has done endless advertising over the past decades... but this feels more like a Volume 1 of a book as it is not as complete retrospective of his work.

We have this coffee table book on display at my job, so I’ve always been intrigued by it. I finally decided to pull the plug on buying it for myself. The package got to me in good condition however, the cellophane wrapping on it was completely ripped and tattered. The book has little bit black marks on the front cover from the cellophane being ripped. Also, I don’t like the idea that the book is chosen by random because I did get my very last choice in which cover I wanted. however, the inside of the book is completely beautiful, gorgeous art, and photos ,10 out of 10. I may return the book due to the scuff marks and hope I get the cover I want the second time around.

Nothing to do with the book itself but unable to choose the cover. I have twice returned this and no way to set preference. I wanted the Kate Moss cover which was originally the only image shown and got the other 2. I give up.

Overall good book, Got the cover I wanted the second time around due to the first book being damaged.Yes, there should have been fold out pages and a few campaigns that I wanted to see that they didn't include.Makes a good coffee table accessory..

Paper stock is not the quality that I expected. Several 2-page spreads, which are compromised by the thickness of the book; better to have had them as a fold out. Great photo choices, just not the calibre of publishing that I would expect from such a profound fashion icon.

Beyond disappointing, and I know it couldn't possibly be up to Mr.Klein's standards. Poor paper quality, and terrible reproduction of iconic images...Then, there is the problem of three different covers. (I didn't know about this in advance.) You are randomly sent one; you are unable to specify the cover you want. Sorry, but the cover I received is not the one I want looking back at me from my coffee table...I couldn't wait to receive this book, but I feel duped, and it's going back......(UPDATE: I had never returned anything to AMZN before, and I must note that returning this book, which was a gift to me, was a horrible experience. As it was an issue of the disappointing quality--and cover--of the book, I expected a full refund. I finally received it, but it required multiple frustrating calls. It was not a matter of the few dollars, but the principle of the matter. And the AMZN call and chat help is unusually inept to the point of not being able to properly pull up an order, type in an order, or understand an issue. This entire CKlein experience was a disaster times two!)

El libro no es tan malo, pero creo que le falto mucho material que debió estar presente y una mejor edición del mismo. La portada es variable, por lo cual te puede tocar una de kate o de alguien más como christy Turlington que me toco a mi.

The book got several critics but my teacher loved the gift.

Calvin Klein coffee table book is absolutely stunning. The images are superb and the book itself is so beautiful especially with the black trim on the pages.

Way too much Kate moss in this, I expected to see the entire catalog of calvin kleins underwear campaign but only a few were chosen. Overall an ok coffee table book, It could have been much better by including the entire archive of Calvin Klein underwear campaigns.
