I had this pickup installed in the neck position of my Squire Stagemaster (totally humbuckered out now) because I am not a fan of single coil pickups and it sounds Awesome. Can't beat the price on this one if you want that thick humbucker sound. Sure you can spend $90 for a Seymour Duncan and the quality may be a little better but this little guy has a good solid sound and I am very pleased with it. If you are the kind of person who must own an American Fender over a squire than this may not be good enough for you. This would also be a great pickup for a project guitar that you don't want to break the bank on.

Most examples have sounded good with little to no microphonics. Sound is subjective. It's up to you to dial in your sound. Not Bardens,especially at 1/30th the price....but if your looking to get a decent sounding hum cancelling pickup for the price of a Big Mack and fries here it is!

Great sounding pickup for the money! Replaced a single coil in the neck position of a no-name guitar that sounded really thin. Wow! What a difference! Simple install, two solder joints to make and was off and running. And of course received it in two days, got to love Prime!

Extremely poor manufacturing quality. When you hold the pickup to the light looking at it from the top or bottom of the pickup rails; You can see through the large gaping space inside the pickup bobbin, There is also HOT GLUE in the pickup bobin to hold the pickup rail into the bobin. In the guitar it is very low output for a 16.25 K ohm pickup.The tone for this pickup sounds like a flat tire thumping an yes I have my Amp settings correct.With the volt meter testing this pickup before installation there is a wired ground short in the wiring.The black wire lead is factory braided into the pickup ground wire lead therfore any custom wiring options is not possible.in phase out of phase which rail to coil tap with options are not factory possible in the wiring.Tends to short out the other pickups in the guitar.Amazon listed this item as free two day shipping included to end up with the product being shipped from CHINA by DHL german postal Mail system with a wait time of 3.5 Weeks!!The tracking number provided never worked on the DHL website.Save up an buy a real major name brand with a good long term reputation for quality.Unless i pay to ship this back to china i am not getting a replacement or refund!!!
