I research all over the place before making a purchase and I finally gave in and bought this belt to try and solve my belt issues. I am so glad I did and I have loved it from day one. Packaging was great, product came in a nice box with a key holder and would be a great gift. Leather was nicely stitched and looked great. Buckle is very stylish and is perfect width and is super easy to use! Awesome belt overall, works great, comfortable, and very stylish. I am a big guy, 6"4 & 320 lbs and have had issues with belts being uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time or with the little screws ripping through the leather on the end of the belt that connects the buckle to the belt. This belt has none of those issues and since the buckle is the same width as the belt, it doesn't jab into my stomach when sitting down. Also no screws as the buckle is a clamp style and can easily be taken on and off no problem and can cut the belt to desired length. Great belt for big guys and overall I love the fit and not having holes. Great belt to adjust on the fly as well, like after a big meal! Lol It's real simple, push down on the buckle and adjust a few notches to comfort level.

I was about to purchase a belt at a store and couldn't find a ratchet belt. The belts at the department store were in the $30 - $50 range, and the last time I bought some a couple years ago, they simply didn't last long and got marked up pretty quickly.I opted to search on Amazon for a ratchet belt and came across this Marino belt. It looks good, the buckle is very nice looking and works perfectly. The instructions and information included in the packaging are clear and easy to follow, and they even state that if you cut your belt too short for your size, they will send you a complimentary replacement. I truly hope people don't take advantage of that policy. Due to how easy it is to size and cut it, I would be surprised if they have to deal with that a whole lot.I can easily give my recommendation on this belt and I love the fact that it is super easy to adjust, so I can have it be one size before supper and a different size after supper. All without having the mark/bend in the belt from where it would have had to loop through the buckle in a normal belt. The ratchet system eliminates the line in your belt so it always looks good.

Anyway I decided to reach out for the shirt of it!:)Impossible to believe that mahbelly button and surrounding masses survived the incident, unscathed and the manufacturer / seller, much to my surprise, didn't ask how we escaped the incident and immediately offered and shipped a free replacement outside of the return window.The belt is nice, I like it very much! It's where I stopped after shirt loads of pages after pages and my belly button and... NOT EASY TO ADMIT, ok! MASSES are lucky they didn't end up like the belt so I'll update the replacement's review and advice the replacement to keep its distance. Get a bunch, Marino Avenue stands behind their products!!*************************************************************************************************************************It's a beautiful thing when you deal with responsible companies that STAND behind their products! I really like these belt and have ordered replacement leather in both black and burgundy. Through the years I have had one loose some fabric on the belt buckle, but just pealed it off and you can’t even notice it. The teeth sometimes pull until the bite is loose but You just cut another 1/4 inch off and reseat it.The only complaint I can think of is the buckle bottom edges are squared off against your stomach and cuts into it a bit. If they rounded those corners it would be a bit more comfortable.

Love it instead of a belt with holes and being to tight or to loose this belt gives you the right fit...Very good quality and bought two belts..

So I'm getting tired of buying belts just to have them look like crap after 6 months to a year (see my old brown belt with traditional buckle).I'm thinking I may be a bit late to this belt ratchet system (that does work a lot like a plastic zip tie--brilliant!) and I think it's going to be the only type I buy in the future.I LOVE that it puts all the stress of holding the belt in place on hard plastic-type ratchets on the underside of the belt; therefore (hopefully) preserving the belt material. I really like that the wearer can make quarter-inch adjustments due to the frequent spacing of the ratchets, versus the traditional one-inch spaces holes in a traditional pin buckle.I so far the simplicity of the LiNXX buckle, where simply lifting the buckle releases the tension immediately. I bought another ratchet belt from another vendor, and it's bulkier, and more importantly, a two-step process to undo the belt (pull the belt slightly as if tightening, simultaneously find the button on the bottom of the buckle and hold to release tension, then relapse the belt). So easy is nice.I find the faux belt pin amusing, so it "looks" like a conventional belt--guess it's what people are used to seeing.Anyway, a nice, classic looking, not flash, belt for dress pants with 1/4 inch adjustable ratchet and EZ LiNXX buckle to release the belt effortlessly.So far a fan!p.s.note added: I also like this Marino's spacing of the ratchets on the belt versus another brand (pix included) they seem to be further down the belt, so that when it is worn, there is less belt tongue double wrapped around the waist.
