I bought the Navy color and it was not as strong a color in person as it was in the photograph. Leather is very easy to scratch up so it looked well used just from manufacturing, packaging and shipping. I bought this item so I could see if the concept of travelers notebooks would work for me before investing in one much more expensive. So far I don't like trying to write on what amounts to being a big pile of paper. Because of the way the individual notebook stack on each other nothing feels like it is totally flat. I did like the paper in the individual notebooks, I could write on the paper using a Lamy M fountain pen with no bleed through and I could barely see what was written on the previous page, I was using a pale blue Lamy ink cartridge. A Flair marker was easier to see through the paper. The stapling of the notebook was not aligned with the center of the notebook so that mad them look messy. Nice cream color, pale lines. Not sure what I think about this item at the moment.

I wish I could be one of those "fancy living" people who spend hundreds on a travelers notebook. I alas have a budget when I saw this TN I thought it was to good to be true, but I thought if anything I could return it as it was only $20. Talk about surprise, this TN feels premium it feels like the expensive TN's that people gush about only I have enough money to purchase more inserts. The navy blue color is elegant and works equally well for men and women. This is a great purchase for someone who wants a travelers notebook but doesnt want to spend a ton of money before deciding if the system is something they will like

Very nice quality! Leather cover is made from nice thick quality leather and seems to hold up well under daily wear and tear. One of the nice things about the packets inside is they are removable and customizable and even comes with pockets for holding letters, bills, etc. Gave this to my niece as a gift since she keeps a diary and she loves it!

I like the color, the suede, the size. I can't wait to fill it in. I do wish I could find a calendar or a band attachment for a calendar. Otherwise, it's spot on.

I loved the first one I got so so much, but I got superglue on it so I ordered another one and it's really like dry and just being in my bag it gets covered in scratches that I can't even rub off. I don't know if it needs oil or what. Im going to switch back to the other one

The picture looks like it has pewter colored metal came with brass. The cover was less finished than I had expected.
