Get this for your truck!
This is basically a gas strut that allows your truck tailgate to open slowly, you don't have to muscle it down. Highly recommended.

Easy to install well made
Works great hopefully it lasts for a long time . At least it has a 3 year warranty unlike the first one I bought from another company that the first sentence in the instructions was ( AS IS NO WARRANTY) it was returned .

Great instructions.
I needed this for my 2006 F350 it was extremely easy to install. The instructions were very easy to follow, step by step with pictures. I had all the tools required to install it. There is nothing like lashing rain and 34 degrees to speed up the installation. From opening up the package to complete installation 34 minutes.
