This is an update from my first purchase. The first unit broke on the first try of using it. The manufacturer reached out and sent me a newer redesigned unit. It’s been a few months now and the second one is working as it should.

This rivnut tool took the difficulty out of setting rivet nuts. I installed over 80 rivnuts and each was set perfectly each time. Cut the time in half from two other rivet nut tools I have in my toolbox. Plus, it Mandrel held up without fear of breaking. Great tool if you want to save time and complete the job right!

The first time I used the tool it broke. the threads pulled out of the threader striped the threads on the tool itself. Just glad I was in the return window Nice looking tool and the box it came in was very well done I probably just got the one made on Friday right before quittin time

Have used it 20+ times now. Easy to use. Requires some room to work though. I read reviews where it's easy to break while squeezing in insert handles to lock the insert into the work piece so I am being careful with my strength and making sure not to "over do" the clamping.

Every shop or business should have one of these. I've worked in the Aircraft industry for may years and with tinkering around with home projects all the time. This is a Great tool when you need to use threaded fasteners in blind areas.

I bought this to replace some broken threaded screw holes on my horse trailer (where the door catch screws in to the sheet metal of the door frame). It was so quick and easy to use this tool. It doesn’t come with instructions, but it’s quite intuitive to use. Quality of the tool seems very solid. Even the blown plastic case seems well done.

How did I live before without this unit. So handy and great for automotive work. Does not fit in tight spaces but I knew that going in, if need, chunk of all thread will get you in the tight spaces. Happy camper here.

I think I found one of my favorite new tools! I’ve been using it to put in rivets to secure shelving in my service van, and I love it so far! It’s easy to use, and it makes bolting down shelving that much easier and better. I recommend!

Great quality and very handy to have

I used it on my metal shed doors. I set two 5/16 rivet-nuts at the top and replaced the plastic slides with bearings using a 5/16 bolt thru the bearing and slid it in the track. It's works.

Broke on first use. was not able to get refund because by the time i used it the return date was passed. tried reaching out to supplier and did not receive a response.
