This descaling solution swooped in and saved my coffee machine from becoming a sad, clogged relic. After months of ignoring the warning signs (aka weird noises and slower brewing), I finally gave it a try — and wow, what a difference! It worked like magic, dissolving all that crusty buildup faster than I could say “morning espresso.” My machine now runs smoother, smells fresher, and my coffee tastes like it just graduated from barista school.

was looking for closest match I could find to Breville descaling powder packets, as Breville seems to always be out of stock...great pitch for buying Breville products when they can't even keep descaling powder in stock... sheesh! Anyway... by looking at Breville packets, this product seems like the winner! And it worked fine! No negatives I am aware of at all, simply mixed with 1 liter water ( I used warm water) as instructed, then descaled according to instructions from tech at Breville long ago... descale to point of hitting rinse part of cycle. Turn off machine and leave for 1 to 3 hours, then turn back on, set to descale, and then go through entire cycle. I find best to pour solution back into the reservoir after each part of cycle, having captured in 4 cup pyrex cup as go through process... keeps reservoir full ...no problems....
