Hape Tricks n Twists Marble Track

Really well made marble run. Very good value and because of being made from wood, will last a long time. Come in a big box!

My 5 year old loves this, it has a nice traditional feel to it and is well made… the only thing I wish was the blocks were a little easier to stay together. She gets quite frustrated as a small knock can send them all tumbling. Considering using some Velcro dots to keep them in place!

The selection of pieces is great and the quality is superb, but there needs to be some proper bases for the supporting columns as they are so fragile, that even the slightest touch on taller structures makes the whole thing fall over. This is amplified when building on carpet. As the builds from this set usually have a large footprint, you’re most likely to build this on the floor so if there’s any younger siblings around or a pet, most builds are unlikely to survive for long.This would have been so much better had it come with bases for the columns or some other way of supporting the columns.As it is, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless you have a nice, large surface and even then, you’ll need a steady handed child to construct and not get frustrated by the constant rebuilding of its wobbly structures.
