I have become a big fan of collagen in recent months after learning it’s health benefits as I am trying to clear up my skin and I am starting to notice fine lines developing around my eye area in particular.I have tried various types of collagen and other forms such as powder and tablets. Liquid form is definitely one of the easier forms to take in my opinion, but depending on the brand it can vary a lot in taste. This liquid form is handy in the sense that it is a set dosage via a sachet so more convenient to take with you on the go or when travelling. I have to say I much prefer other liquid versions where you take it like a shot as its over and done with much quicker, this you have to squeeze it out the sachet and there is at least two mouthfuls to swallow. Personally I do not enjoy the taste and I always ensure my water bottle is close by to wash away the taste - I have tasted better and worse. This is a red berry flavour and is very sweet and thick. I think if it was in a self pour bottle I would prefer it much more.The Proto-col collagen is a very high strength 10,000mg which is quite hard to come by, it is also equipped with many other health benefiting vitamins and minerals such as Biotin and Vitamin C. In terms of what this collagen contains it is very premium and sure to work wonders for your skin, hair and nails. As there are only 15 sachets, so just over 2 weeks supply, it is hard to judge whether the effects are starting to show. As I was previously using another collagen product immediately beforehand of the same strength I can say my hair, skin and nails have not declined in health since using this brand. Which must mean it is maintaining the benefits of taking collagen. I would personally not choose to repurchase due to the sheer cost, currently this would cost me £80 for a month’s supply – something I cannot afford to upkeep.

I can only have Halal or vegetarian, found out is unsuitable for vegetarian. I didn’t use it at all. I was looking forward to using it, but unfortunately I am sad that I can’t anymore 🥹

Just a bit expensive for me to use regularly

It's a huge molecule that sits on your skin and is basically too big to be absorbed. Thus all those beauty creams that boast about collagen, aren't really doing anything other than perhaps moisturising. Collagen needs to be eaten through foods or ingested orally to really have any effect on your body and skin. These liquid collagen sachets are an excellent way to benefit from collagen.These sachets not only have collagen as an ingredient (10,000mg) but also hyaluronic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin c, biotin, vitamin E, biotin and zinc, which is the perfect concoction for beauty and well being.The intended results are firmer skin and anti ageing effects, a youthful glow, thicker and healthier hair, and nail growth.You will recieve 15 worth of these sachets, to take once daily. They come in a large, slim box that makes it easily accessible to tear off a sachet and use.Prior to my first day, I really thought these would have a horrible taste and would have to mix the gel with some fruit juice to be able to ingest it. Totally wrong, the taste is absolutely fine, it basically tastes like a fruit puree, mostly Berry flavour, and very easy to just sook it out the sachet. It doesn't take long to finish either, perhaps a few minutes for me. Once you have opened a sachet it does need to be finished within 24 hours.I've only been using these for a few days now and it will obviously take a while to see any results but with everything I've read on these types of collagen drinks/gels, I have high hopes for results. If you really want to add collagen to your regime then this is the best way to do it. Don't bother with creams and face serums as it will do nothing, it cannot be absorbed.

These are expensive for what they are. They do have more collagen than other brands but honestly I feel these are a tad too expensive to continuously take.The flavour is actually really pleasant and you can either drink straight from the packet or mix in with a drink to dilute.I'm not sure about its effectiveness because these things do take time.Either way if you are happy to pay for this then you will enjoy drinking these to get your collagen intake in so that you have younger looking skin!

These supplements come in convenient sachets that have a tab on the top. I believe they are designed to rip of but I tend to resort to scissors as they are fiddly to twist off. The berry flavour is pleasant and sweet tasting with a thick consistency. Whilst on this course I have noticed that my nails are stronger and I have had been complimented on my skin.
