Bought this when our youngest was 1mo after seeing the model his doctor’s office used. He never fusses when we check his temp and this model has proven very accurate over the years.

So happy to have received this. Been struggling to find an accurate thermometer for our daughter and this one works great!

I gave it [4] stars because the WARRANTY term on the website said [5] years but the the manufacturers manual NOTES that it is [3] years. Also there doesn't seem to be a web address to REGISTER it for WARRANTY. Otherwise, it seems to be a well made, accurate product.

Let me start by saying I think it is ridiculous that companies give out these thermometers in order to have 5 star reviews written.The truth about this thermometer, it is expensive, and the ease of use will sell you on it. What sold me was the 5 star reviews that I didn't realize were fakes.I ran out, drove to three different drug stores until I finally got one. I took it out and tried it on myself. 97, 96.9, 97.2Used a regular old thermometer and low and behold 98.7 degrees. I bought this to use on my son, and it's all over the map, you could absolutely not trust this. In my opinion a company should not be able to sell something that could clearly be proven to be inaccurate. It probably costs them $3 to make this piece of junk, and mark it up to $55. All these people writing these reviews should be ashamed.

Received my Brand New Braun Thermostat 5 in the mail From InfluesterI am a mom with two kids so I was super Excited to get this product especiallysince my last thermometer had pooped out recently.When I opened the box it came with an instruction manual, a case, tip applicators, and batteries!I used this thermometer for a month before deciding whether I like it or not and to be honest I love it!To use it is very simple1. place an applicator tip on the thermometer (will not work otherwise)2. Push the power button below the screen3. Insert tip into ear4. Push the button above the screen to get your reading5. Hear a beep within 5-10 seconds look at the screen and you have your reading.The display is nice when you turn it on you see your bettery charge and Previous tempature.I think this thermometer fits nicely in the hand and the ejection of the tip applicator is easy.Over all I rate this 5 stars!
