It satisfied all my needs for a really low price!!
I ordered this for a Hi-Point 995TS 9mm Carbine. (Pictured in one of the attached images). As most of you will know, this is a very inexpensive firearm, so I did not want to spend money on a scope that was a large portion or more than the cost the firearm itself. My eyes are getting worse and worse and I basically wanted a way to magnify the targets. My eyes are good enough out to about 15 yards, and any more starts getting tough. So I looked around the Budget Optics space. Found lots of Chinese made optics from different manufacturers that looked pretty much the same. Went back and forth between CVLIFE, UUQ, PINTY, BEILESHI brands and all were about the same specs and about the same price point. Went with CVLIFE for the SLIGHLTY better brand name. As it turned out, the scope itself came in generic packaging that just said RIFLE SCOPE (see image). There was a tiny "CVLIFE" on a sticker on the package (see image). On the scope itself, there was NO brand name as I have seen in reviews of other CVLIFE scopes (even the budget ones) just 3-9x40EG, so I guess this is really a generic scope that CVLIFE sells and probably no different from any of the the others I was looking at in this price point. The little instruction manual was very basic and covered several generic scopes. It did not even have any information on the illuminated reticle that came with this scope. There were some errors, referring to the windage adjustment turret as both the RIGHT turret (CORRECT) and LEFT turret (WRONG for this scope). That said, everything was pretty standard and I lucked out and dropped the (included) CR2032 battery in the right way and the reticle lighting worked as advertised.A cheap servicable magifying optic was all I was looking for, so I raise these points on packaging and instructions for informational purposes, not so much as a downside. The included 20mm Scope Rings (Picatinny/Weaver rail) fit perfectly on my Hi-Point rails. Came with an Allen key to tighten down the rings on the body of the scope. As expected, I had to remove the rear sight to make room, but I left the front sight on and the scope is mounted high enough that it wasn't an issue. Scope was a breeze to mount and seemed pretty stable, given the innate flex of the Hi-Point polymer rail. The indoor range I go to has a maximum distance of 25 yards, so that was the distance I zeroed the scope at. It was much harder to zero than I thought. Out of the box it was barely on the paper and it took me a lot of clicking to get anywhere close. Was probably the idiot BEHIND the scope more than the scope itself. I got close and packed it in. Couple of days later I went back and got it zeroed. Was nailing bullseyes at 25 yards consistently. Took it back to the range a week later and shot freehand and it held zero and nailed bullseyes. Oddly, it was shooting a bit low and left when going for headshots (on the paper target) though the point of impact was constantly on. I even put it on a bench rest to check and it was the same. CENTER BULLSEYE dead on. HEAD SHOT off to the left and low. Parallax?? Whatever. I am very happy with my purchase and the scope gave me exactly what I wanted from it for a low price point. 5 Stars for that reason.

Ring stripped
The scope is great but one of the rings was received with stripped threads so it is basically unusable in the state it was received. UPDATE: customer service took care of me to get a replacement part very quickly. Everything is great now.

Very good scope! But note there's a minimum range for effectiveness
Had a long debate between this one and the other CVLife one with the AO adjustment.Ended up giving this a go, and found it a very solid product. Just one caveat. The build quality is nice. I have had several optics, and for the price, this is very solid. The structure is rigid, the optics clear, and the gears to adjust have nice resistance feel to them. The illuminated lights are also an icing, making the dots pronounced even in dark backgrounds - both green and red are a nice touch.I was able to secure this to my Ruger 10/22 with Picatinny rails no issues. This comes with an allen wrench, so you don't have to bring your own. The lens covers are included as well.My only gripe with this otherwise very worthwhile scope, is that without the AO adjustment, you will have trouble getting a clear picture on things less than 15 yards. I looked at something at ~10 yards on min magnification (3X), and it was blurry. But looking at something 30 yards, everything was clear, even on max (9X) magnification.Conceivably, with AO adjustment possible, you could mitigate all of these issues. In fact, I would recommend you consider the 4-16X illuminated scope from CVLife. That one costs more, but has both illumination, and AO adjustment.Update: I purchased the illuminated, AO adjustment CVLife scope that's 4-16x44. With the AO adjustment, I can put that scope at 10 yards and see much more clearly than this one. I would surmise the 3-9x40 variant with AO (no illumination) scope would do equally well.

Good value for the money
Needed something basic for a picatinny rail and this fit the bill

Beware!
very robust gets a 5, fact that reticle is NOT vertical, but to the left 0! total 3, due to clamp system can be turned to left, thou it should not be needed.

Scope would not zero
I put this scope on my 308 deer hunting rifle. I could not get it to zero. I initially got it within 1" of the bullseye at 25 yards. So I put the target at 100 yards and totally missed the 2' x 3' cardboard. So I tried at 50 yards. I hit 4 inches to the left from the bullseye at 50 yards, turned in 8 clicks to the right and shot again. The bullet hit within 1/2" of the bullet I just shot. The scope left-right did not move. I can't trust this scope for hunting.
