How do I know what size this mask is? I'm reading the reviews saying it comes in 3 sizes S, M, L but it doesn't say anywhere on the description.

I can tell you that I found the medium size too large for me. I am 5' 11" and do not have a small face.

Does a pair of P100-certified filters come with the mask or are those sold separately?

Mine did not come with filters. The bag indicates they should have been packaged together with the mask so they may have been removed prior to shipping.

what is the NIOSH rating? N100?

Dust Mask and Filter Cartridge Ratings Respiratory Filters come in a variety of ratings that relate to how the respirator performs (how much it filters) and what environment type it is designed to be used in. When choosing a respirator it's important to understand that as the letter rating and number rating increase, breathing fatigue will increase. While you certainly don't want to choose a rating that is too low, you don't necessarily always want to pick a P100 filter for every application - particularly if you're just looking for a simple dust mask to do home improvement work. Typically, an end user will find an N95 respirator cooler, and easier to breath through than a P99 or P95 dust mask. Respirator Rating Letter Class N - Not oil resistant R - Resistant to oil P - Oil Proof Respirator Rating Number Class 95 - Removes 95% of all particles that are at least 0.3 microns in diameter 99 - Removes 99% of particles that are at least 0.3 microns in diameter 100 - Removes 99.97% of all particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter or larger. HE or HEPA quality filter.

Would this be an appropriate mask for woodworking, specifically when sanding (or cutting MDF) and lots of ultra fine particles are in the air?

Yes, just be sure to get the right filter. 3M makes lots of them, and you can get the right tables from them. I use the cartridge P100 for metal dusts.

Perfect size small for me

This actually fits my face, I was having trouble finding a size small and I’m so happy I found this. This mask is a must for daily chicken coop cleaning!

Good seal around the face

Cleans easily. Filters work effectively when attached properly. Strap is tight and adjustable giving a good seal.

No filters, false advertising! DO NOT BUY.

I do not recommend this product. It is cheaply made, and does not come woth the filters as advertised. Save your money and look elsewhere! If you read the reviews on here, several people have had this same issue! Only put 1 star because it makes you add one in order to write a review.

NO Filters! But got refund.

NO FILTERS!!!!! What the heck, starting project today and need filters today. Joke. Update Changing review. After reading reviews I purchased extra pads just in case. Package came without pads but contacted Amazon and they refunded cost of pads Buy extra pads, you'll need them anyway As far as product, seems good quality and good fit.

This mask is awesome! I usually don't write any reviews, but I think this is something worthy of sharing with others. I do occasional wood work and I end up coughing a lot afterward, due to dust I breathe in. I tried wearing those disposable masks, but they get so hot that I have to take it off every 5 minutes to get some fresh air. With this mask, I was able to work for hours without removing them until I cleaned the garage. They kept me me cool and free of dust particles. I highly recommend it. It is not that much more expensive than the disposable ones. I am going to order one for my husband.

Great fit with no fog on glasses

This mask has a great fit! I made sure to get the correct size for my nose and mouth. (Same size as my CPAP masks.) I'm a very large person but wear a size small mask. Getting the correct size makes a huge difference in the seal around your nose. Being able to breathe normally is important as I wear the mask for extended periods of time while cleaning or carving on gourds. This mask allows for easy normal breathing. I like that I can take the filters off and clean the entire mask. That aspect is very important to me. I highly recommend this mask.
