The vine trap, the collapsing bridge, etc. This setcomes with a Kion figure, so you are setto play! This set does include batteries, so another win in the plus column on that! We already own an extra package of figures and the lair and live them equally as much! Nice quality toy! Excellent price!

We bought this last Christmas, and 7 months later my kids still play with it and have fun. So many play sets seem to bore children, but these are well constructed (we now own all the Lion Guard play sets) and have kept them entertained.

Excellent gift idea to have around the house when you need an extra little gift for an unexpected party you're invited to. Great price who doesn't love this lion play toys?

Bought this as a Santa gift. It came quickly. Packaged nicely. My daughter loves it. And still plays with it with all her animal figurines.

This is the second Season Two Lion Guard Playset to come out on the market. The playset sculpts are closely on model, there was a delightful lack of assembly frustration, and the break-away bridge and battering ram worked as intended. Nice touch with the sound effects of Scar's Roar and on the catapult. Did I mention there's a CATAPULT? These Lion Guard Playsets continually astound me with their classic action figure projectile arsenal. Major props for the inclusion of Makuu in the winding croc pond and of Ushari's cliffside trap. The jungle sound effects switch out depending on the placement of Scar's head. I thought this made for a pretty cool background noise element giving it an organic feel.Compared to the Hyena's Hide Out Playset, it's kind of heavy. I find it heavy for my grown up paws, so I can imagine it's going to a workout for the little ones who move this around the playroom. I'm wondering why this playset features some of the more earthy and leafy "good guy," color schemes since Scar's whole shtick is fire and brimstone. The vine trap didn't really do much for me, as it's stationary and lacks the interactivity of the Hyena's Hide Out bone trap.My other kvetch about this playset involves the difficulty in activating the light up flames. You have to practically mash down on the nose, short of punching it. I guess this won't be a problem if your kids are rough on their toys, but I had a bit of difficulty lowering the head piece. It's a bit of a delicate procedure getting the head to rise while getting the nose to also activate, so there's a bit of a learning curve.This set also comes with another Kion figure. Not bad, but when you've bought the four major playsets, you're going to be left with a surplus of Kions. This set probably makes a better purchase if you get it with the other bad guy playset since you'd have Kion and Janja facing off, but by itself, it's probably more of a hardcore fan's purchase.
