This item does work and trims accordingly however, the general straight blades don't allow for much deviation for error. Whilst grooming very carefully, I continued to get butchered with the very good but sharp blades... this resulted in me looking like I'd been attacked by some wild animal. General trimming using the guards is good.

I'm going to start this review with one of my secondary school nicknames: "Honey Monster". For those who remember him, and me being a kid of the 70s/ 80s, you can probably guess that puberty hit me like a brick and coated me in enough excess body hair to easily pass as an 18 year old before I was 15. (Yes, now I'm 50 I'm happy to admit to all those bouncers I lied to! ;-) )This product replaces my old shaver - which was a gift from the wife. My old shaver was a good brand name associated with hairdressing, and was also waterproof/ cordless as is this model.Comparison wise, I believe my old device was in the £25 range - and on cost this product is on par - it's currently available for just £25.99 when using the £10 discount offered by Amazon.Next comparison: Recharging - my old device would last maybe 30-40 minutes (plenty of time for a quick trim downstairs), but over the years that went down to <1 minute, hence the need to replace. Being fair, it is over 5 years old.This new trimmer lasts well into an hour, meaning I only need to recharge every 2 or 3 uses. Perfect.Accessories and gizmos: This shaver comes with some bare essentials and a nice drawstring pouch. Again, this is perfect - two comb attachments cover 4 hair lengths... but to be honest, I'm going down-to-the-bone close, so no big deal. THis also comes with a stand-up charging base.My previous trimmer had all bar the kitchen sink in terms of attachments, and I used none of them. Neither did it have a drawstring bad - nor a charging base.Performance! This new trimmer buzzes away quietly, and cuts like a lightsabre! Close, clean, and without incident.My old trimmer worked well, but was noisy. And also, quite a few times some nasty 'nicks' to more wrinkly areas used to leave me sore for days.So, overall, this is a great upgrade for my now binned old shaver. I've only used it once so far, but it is a joy to behold... no soreness, no rash, no nicks. And the fact it is waterproof means it can be washed, dried, and stored in its little pouch for next time.Thumbs up!

It also features a spotlight on the front, which is a thoughtful design that allows us to see the area we are shaving more clearly. However, a major drawback is that the spotlight cannot be turned off during use.On the plus side, the waterproof feature and USB charging capabilities are a definite plus, making it easy to use in the shower or on the go. The inclusion of multiple comb lengths also allows for versatility in trimming length. this grooming kit is very versatile and can be used for both body and facial hair. It comes with multiple attachments that allow for customizable grooming lengths, making it easy to achieve the desired look. Additionally, the set includes a soft storage bag for convenient travel and storage. The ceramic blades are also a nice touch, ensuring safe and efficient cutting.The battery life of the shaver is decent, but not exceptional. It can last for around an hour on a single charge, which should be enough for most people.

Shaver is nice and smooth, definitely feels waterproof so can use in the shower. Has a brilliant charger stand that you can easily place in and pull out with ease. Charger cable plugs into the side. The shaver has a LIGHT to help you see areas that are a bit tricky. Such an amazing little shaver, feels very nice to hold. Recommend

Upon receiving this the packaging had all the look of a discount warehouse cheap import, bland and unattractive! It's a good thing then, that the actual product is very good.....but you wouldn't pick that up from the box......Dress it up nicer, you'll see the difference!Anyhoo, the trimmer/clipper itself is excellent and makes good with the promises made on the product page, and to that my wife and I are hairless as eggs in the interests of trying the product out - equally good for women or men, the device size is perfect for getting into those intricate little crevices, and the wee light illuminates the process appropriately. Having a 'guards off' head of hair I can use it with confidence for this, chest, chookies, oxters, legs, arms, till I run out of things to shave!Supremely easy to charge, and being waterproof, to clean, storage provided by the fabric bag included, and not a whole barrage of attachments that you'll never use - compact and handy!All in all, great product - You need never be troubled by a hair again!
