UMI 2400W Step Up Voltage Converter, Heavy Duty Power Transformer for Large Capacity Devices, Europe Appliance 110v to 220v

Writing a review after so long, I Bought this to run a Juicer from India. This convertor is in no way cheaply made like many others, especially like those ugly black boxes. It is very Heavy, like a heavy brick and has suction cups at the bottom. It also has mounting holes on it in case you want to hang it on the wall but dont do it if you have cheap drywalls because this is very heavy. It arrived nicely packaged, looks good, and works great, no problems at all. The Indian plug is too tight in this socket so I had to buy an adapter plug but that's allright because the unit itself works perfectly. There are two total 220v outlets on it. The 900W Juicer ran just the way it would in India. No noise or smell from this convertor unit either, it comes with a strong and thick power cord. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Pros: - looks good (versus old-style transformers) - compact - heavy. It's a pro because that means they used a good transformer in it. Now this is really super heavy, you will NOT bring it on vacation with you... - display and soft start features. - good specs, not lying about it. i.e. they tell you to not use 2000W of device with it but less, as starting power might be 2000W for lower power devices. cons: - price :-) - maybe not super stable Use: this powers a 500W or less 220V device that uses a motor, so presents an induction load. This has no problem at all powering it, starting it... I went way above the minimum specs because I want it to last.

Just moved to the USA from Europe, and this item is perfect for running my 220v appliances! Works for coffee maker, tea maker, waffle iron. Very satisfied and I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect solution for high wattage kitchen appliances. It works flawlessly, does not make any buzzing noise, perfectly silent with a nice display that shows current Voltage and Wattage. It looks very nice, great compact design reminiscent of an Apple or Xiaomi device. You can peel off the blue and green sticker and it will be totally white. Be careful because is very heavy and its small size is misleading. Anyway once it is sitting on the kitchen counter top, it will not move from there since it has 2 suction cups on the bottom. Yet if you move it around use both hands because you do not want to drop it on your foot. So far we have used and it worked flawlessly with a Nespresso coffee maker which run at 1650 watts and a Philips Kettle which runs at 2050 watts, The converter is suggested for usage up 2000W, but on the specs it shows it can stand up to 2600W, probably for a short period of time.

I have this attached to an Espresso machine from Germany. I needed something that would convert power up. The 2000w. unit has a digital gauge lights up when you push the button on the top to turn it on. I don't hear any sound really, just a click a whirl when it comes on. Then I turn my coffee machine on. I have this sitting off to the side of the coffee machine. After a bit, it does start generating some warmth. When I'm done making coffee I turn that off 1st. then this machine. I don't want to leave it running, since its pulling power, thought its not suppose to pull that much when not in use. I just like wasting electricity. Really heavy duty cord and sleek/modern looking. With a retro digital gauge. This item was heavier than expected., but I feel in this case that shows value. Its running another machine that is much more expensive.

I moved from Europe to the US and bought 2 of these 2400w converters in order to keep using my European appliances that require 220v input. The 2 converters do work pretty well (still after 1month of use). I'm using them on a daily basis with low wattage constant 24/7 and higher demand for shorter periods of time when vacuuing, using air fryer, etc.... They don't produce noise/smell/heat compared to what I was reading about a few other options on the market and they are much fancier too... having one of these in the living room next to TV gets almost unnoticed. They're very stable thanks to the suction cup under it. It also works for the hair dryer of my wife (2300w) but forget about the idea of bringing these converters for a short city trip... they are way too heavy.

Works great. Bought my wife an espresso machine in. italy and didn’t realize the plug wouldn’t work here in the states. Plugged this in and plugged the machine into it… ta-da! Now it works great and has for over a year. Thank you!

We moved to Canada from Australia and had a few kitchen appliances such as the coffee machine and air fryer that needed extra voltage to power up. I had this connected to my Australia’s extension cord too. It was such a great buy (got the 2400W) due to its compact size that just work! It’s super quiet too. Highly recommend!

This thing is easy to use. It's heavy so it's not something you move around too often. I had appliances from living in Asia that I didn't want to throw out. After trying another, much clunkier converter, this one is streamlined and sleek-looking. I use it daily with my coffee machine and also with my toaster. I recommend it.

The step up transformer works perfectly for my requirements, I appreciate the relatively compact size and design. Very satisfied with my purchase.
