Works!
I bought this product to help me place my Amazon Echo Dot Kids version in a place where is can hear me, not be fought over by the children, and is out of reach of an outlet. This product works very well to power Ziggy the Owl from anywhere I need it powered. It also can charge a battery base and will fit in the hole for the optional nest base for the Owl. I am very pleased with this purchase

Surprisingly does just what it says it does.
I was skeptical given the high return rate, but this does exactly what it says it does - powers my Echo Dot gen 5 via a simple USB port.

Not for Alexa
Did not work to power my Alexa Echo Dot.

Does exactly what it says it does.
I bought it so that I could extend the battery life for my echo dot. The current generation of echo is being sold with an optional battery stand. The battery stand is good because it allows for 2 hours of continuous music. A little bit more than 8 hours if it's idle. I have it on a power strip so I shut off the power strip for my computer, And it shuts off the power supply for the echo. This cable allows me to hook it up to a power bank and get some extended use.

I'm happy
The reviews of this product had me a little worried. I'm glad to say it works exactly as I needed it to. For those who are having power issues, please make sure the power plug you connect it to puts out enough power to the echo deivce. That's probably the issue a lot of people are experiencing.

I checked it out, plugged it in and it worked
The bad part is I can’t find a longer cord. I’m going overseas and I wanted the USB power source to plug-in to my echo. Dot and my Google nest. This one works with the echo dot. Haven’t found one for the Google nest. Easier to operate in another country or I’ll be staying for three months from a USB connection. Really wanted a 6 foot to 10 foot cord.
