Best Camera Sling I own, and I own 10+ slings
This is my go-to Camera Sling. I travel a lot and bring a camera backpack and then I stuff this sling in my luggage. When I walk around my destination to take photos I normally carry this sling, my camera, and two other lenses inside the sling along with extra batteries and a few other small things. This can hold two big lenses, like a 70-200 f2.8 (canon RF extending, not the longer non-telescoping) and another 15-35 f2.8. If you pack the camera inside then you can carry an R5 with 24-105 f4 attached and one other lens like a 15-35 f2.8. I own several 10+ backpacks and 10+ slings, this is my go-to sling. This sling collapses well so I can stuff it into my luggage, other slings do not collapse well.

My FAVORITE sling bag of all time, and I have a few dozen....
This thing is just amazing. Buy it and don't look back. It's also a fraction of the more expensive brands (PD I'm looking at you LoL) and IMO is the perfect size for an EDC bag. It makes the perfect Murse for me, and even the receptionist commented on it today at the doctor's office. As long as the materials hold up well, I'm a very happy customer. An easy 9/10 or 10/10 from me. Now I'm looking at the slightly bigger Ulanzi slings that zip shut like this one, because I didn't like the BC08. It was just too "boxy" or something and I didn't like the flap closure.Just get it!

Close clone of the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling
The ULANZI Versatile Camera Bag popped up as an Amazon Deal and, being a bit of a bag hag, clicked add to cart. I also own the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L, so I’ll compare with that more expensive bag. This a near clone of the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L: a lightly padded bag with a sleek messenger bag form factor. Secondly, this is a small bag—smaller than my Peak Everyday Sling 6L. The black rubberized plastic exterior (PU) shows fingerprints readily and the matte finish takes on a shine where it contacts clothing. PU isn’t as attractive or as tactile as canvas or 600 denier fabrics, and is less supple than the fabric used on the Bellroy. PU "grabs" some shirts and jackets, making swings of the bag from back to front challenging at times. On the plus side, PU is extremely water resistant. It has endured tropical downpours and beer splashes without a problem. The interior improves over the Bellroy Venture by being Vecro friendly; that is, allows free positioning and the addition of dividers. Sadly, Ulanzi only includes one tiny divider. As supplied, laying my EOS R7 with RF-S 18-150 IS STM sideways on the bottom was all that fit. A waste of space above the camera and no room for extra lenses or accessories. Luckily, I had two extra Peak Everyday Sling 6L dividers, and they fit the Ulanzi perfectly, allowing me to stow my R7 and RF-S 18-150 IS STM lens down in the center with hood mounted! More than half the cargo space was now available to stow other things: another lens and a flash easily fit on the other side of the dividers.Once fitted with proper dividers, this bag is a joy to carry: good looking, lightweight, slender and hugs the body. The strap adjusts easily and is comfy. Plus, the strap yoke allows the bag to adjust angle to body contours. The strap pad is too small to distribute weight evenly on shoulder and upper chest—I prefer using it without the pad. The zipper, albeit not as smooth as the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling, pulls easily enough and the bag opens wide for gear extraction. Unfortunately, the Ulanzi is unable to stand upright and must be laid on its side when not being carried. The Ulanzi Versatile Camera Bag is not as thoughtfully designed, comfy or as versatile as the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L, but is well made. However, the Ulanzi, at under forty George Washingtons, is a bargain and easy to customize. If you have spare dividers from another bag, it can be made into a great bag for a mirrorless (or small DSLR) with mounted kit zoom and an extra lens and flash. My suggestion for Ulanzi is to use 600 denier fabric on the outer shell, add color choices, include two interior dividers and design a longer strap pad.

Really nice bag for price
Love this bag! It fits a lot! My only complaint is that wish it could have one more compartment inside for another lens. But overall it’s really nice and had a premium feel. It fits all my gear, and then some. Lots of pockets and organization.

hit and miss, mostly hits
The bag is a good size, I have a Canon R10 with kit lens in the main compartment, and a Canon 220 EX II with an RF 50mm lens in the other compartment. Overall, the bag looks good. However, quite a few things I don't like.1. the shoulder strap is attached to the bag via 2 buckles that can be easily unclipped with 2 fingers, if you travel to tourist locations where there are thieves, you are just giving stuff away.2. The front pocket is so tight and close to the main body of the bag, you can only put in flat stuff, not even batteries, as example.3. There is a shallow zipped pocket on the inside with 4 pockets sized for 4 SD cards?? Really? This is an armature bag, a 256GB SD card can take 10,000 photos. Including the card in the camera, do we really expect the need for 50,000 photos on a trip? I would love it if the pockets can be size to put in some camera batteries instead.4. There are 2 net pockets on left and right side of the bag. For the compartment where I put my camera, content in the net pocket can interfere with the camera.I feel the designers valued style over function. Aside from just using the main body of the bag to house a camera, a flash and a lens, all the other features of the bag missed the mark.(update 12/30/2022) went on a trip for a week, carried a Canon R10 with the kit lens and took a few 1000's photos. The side of the bag that touches the body became oily and shiny from rubbing against clothing. For walking around, I carried the camera in the main compartment, and a bottle of water plus a glasses case and some batteries in the other compartment. I used twist ties to loop through the buckles so they can't be easily unbuckles by thieves. I wish the bag was slightly bigger, so I can fit a larger lens on the camera. If there was an outside water bottle pocket, that would have been awesome.

Waterproof - fits mirrorless with 2 extra lens - passport and phone
Proven on a recent trip to be waterproof in drizzling rain. But enough for a Sony a7c with two extra lens (padded bags). The back pocket is up against your body and can store passport and wallet. I carry also a very small water bottle. You could probably organize a small phone charger battery pack. It’s good for an everyday carry on vacation to bring all of what you need. Build quality seems good. And at this price the bag can be replaced without much concern.
