Nail gun vs Deck nails
I'm redoing my deck. I was going to use a pneumatic nail gun but the nails rust and it's a pain to keep the compressor at full pressure. These deck nails drive easily without pilot holes. Careful not to drive them too deep and only into planks sitting on joists. And if you lose the star shaped bit, they're easy to replace. And be sure you buy the right size and color!
