Not fit for purpose.
FiveSky SQ11 Sports Mini DV camera problems. Instructions were quite poor, not good English. Had to use You Tube video to set up and operate.Cable supplied not as seen on You Tube video of the device. There was no A/V connector.720 – Not such a great video picture, in fact not really 720!. Very jerky.1080 – Again not a great video picture, certainly does not look like a normal 1080 shot. Plays back at twice the speed and then freezes. On connecting to Windows 10 PC the camera folder showed a ‘ToDUa’ file which I could not open. On installing the scan disk into my PC folder showed correctly but videos still played wrong. When connecting the Mini DV camera as a webcam, using cable supplied, and using OBS to view, the device produced very loud random ‘gobbldygook’ noises. In all not really suitable for the job in hand. This is the second such camera with very similar faults. Both items have been returned! Shame really as it was just what I was looking for.

Mini camera.. more like micro camera!
So my biggest problem is the instructions.. like the camera, the font is small, I didn’t even realise such a small font existed. Plus not the easiest instructions to interpret (note - could be my age!)

Not worth buying.
The camera is small and compact and it's easy to use after watching a tutorial on YouTube. The problem I have is that I can't get any of the recordings to play no matter what I connect it to. All i get is that the file isnt supported so it can't be played. I've even tried the memory card into a reader and it still doesn't play.

Absolute garbage…
Product not as described, the size and shape are nothing like the advert. When you install the app you get inundated with adverts. Camera would not charge, power and mode buttons inoperative. Yet another falsely advertised price of junk from China that Amazon loves to sell…

Surprisingly good once you work out how to use it.
Frankly, I bought this expecting it to be mediocre but not minding because it was cheap. What I actually got was a surprisingly capable little camera. The included instructions are so badly translated into English as to be near-unintelligible, but a much better one can be found online (search for "SQ11 instructions"). Given its tiny size, there's no display and only two buttons, so the different features are accessed using combinations of pressing and holding the two buttons and interpreting the flashes from the two-colour LED indicator.Once you get to grips with that, though, this camera takes reasonably good 1080p footage as long as there's enough light, and while in my tests it didn't quite manage the full 100 minutes the box claims, if charged fully and recently it does come pretty close - at least 80 minutes usually. It will also happily use power from a USB adapter or battery bank, extending recording time greatly - even a small one like a single 18650 battery will give you nearly 24 hours. The night vision on this camera is probably its weakest feature, but it does function. At this size, it's hard to get really bright IR LEDs, so they only reach a few feet, but within that range it will happily record reasonably clear video bathed in the purple glow of infrared illumination. Doing so will drain the battery faster; the IR seems to be a thing you enable and disable manually rather than having an automatic switchover based on light levels, which means in low light you'll get a purple tinge on things that come close to the camera. This does have an upside, though - there's no jump or interruption as the camera switches into night-vision mode, it just keeps recording. All in all, a decent option if you want a cheap camera for projects.

Love it
This is my second one and love them. May feel cheap , but they are a hell of a lot better than some expensive ones .
