A welcome upgrade...
A few years ago, a friend who is a professional make up artist recommended one of those battery powered spinning soft brushes for facial cleaning. In her opinion, there wasn't much difference between the effectiveness of different price points, so I picked a comparatively low cost version from a major make up / skin care manufacturer. I've used it ever since off and on, but I admit, I never really thought much about how effective it was, nor am I a person who is very attentive to the latest fads in skin care. That said, I think that this facial cleansing brush is pretty great! I've been using it for the last two weeks and not only does my face feel cleaner and clearer after I use it, I've noticed improvement in my skin appearance overall, as well. More importantly, I actually look forward to using it far more than I thought possible for one of those many routine self-care tasks we all have each day.It arrived packaged prettily in a substantial box, including a sit-on charger with a suction cup in the back, usb cable, and brief manual describing use. Color is pale white-person flesh tone, with rose gold accents on the charger. The suction cup is key, because the charger itself is so small it's not very stable on its own, given the overall size (~<6") of the brush. The effective area of the brush bristles is ~2".The shape (though visually...ummm...unfortunate (? - yes, let's just leave it at "unfortunate")) is useful, because it makes it easy to get into your hairline, around your nose and ears, and to avoid the sensitive skin around your eyes, which was always a concern with my previous round brush. Plus, the silicone bristles are much more gentle: having sensitive skin, I was never comfortable using my old brush every day, like I do with this brush. A full charge has lasted a couple of weeks. It's very easy to use, with two modes (one with consistent motion, one with varying motion) with variable intensity (intuitively, using the up and down arrows on either side of the power button) distinguished by the color of light seen at the bottom of the unit. The heating function is a miss - it primarily heats the back of the brush and didn't do much for me.It is very easy to clean after use. I wish two things: a travel case (especially given the...ahem, unfortunate appearance of the cleansing brush) and a charge indicator. I'm wondering whether the light intensity that shows at the bottom will work as a charge indicator, but this hasn't become obvious to me at this point, having used the brush for only a couple of weeks. Will edit my review if that turns out to be the case...All in all, if it's in your budget, this facial cleaning brush is a worthwhile purchase, IMHO.

Yeah idk but
As an aesthetician, this is aesthetically pleasing also great for content, but no real use for it like it doesn’t really do anything yk lol

Maybe not for my skin
After using this product, my skin is still dirty. The brush is too soft for me.

Good ultrasonic exfoliation/cleaning silicon wand
A recent hot skincare device seems to be the ultrasonic spatula. Some of these are made of metal and so tend to have problems with areas of the face that are relatively flat. This device is made of rubbery silicone (more of a wand than a spatula), so it attempts to go at the problem using the same sort of ultrasonic vibration, but in a device that can more easily follow the contours of your face. It also features soft bristles, which are good for working any kind of lotion or cleaning serum into your face. This spatula comes in a nice retail, giftable, box, and is nicely packaged inside. You get the facial brush, a wireless charging dock, and a USB charging cable for the dock. The spatula comes partially charged out of the box but should be fully charged before use. Note that there is no charge level indication on the device--a negative. You should be able to get several sessions out of a fully charged device. Charing time is fairly long (about 10 hours for a full charge). The side of the device intended for your skin has some soft bristles, which increase the massage movement, and are also good for generating a lather from any lotion you might apply to your face for use with this. There are three soft-push control buttons on the device. One is off/on-low/on-high/off. The other two change the degree of vibration in the selected mode. The device comfortably fits in your hand (see photos). On the back of the wireless charging stand is a suction cup, which you can use to attach to a flat wall or another surface. In operation, I found that this did a pretty job of taking dilute soap solution and creating some lather from which I could wash my face. On my face, it felt comfortable, and I did not experience undue abrasion at either low or high speed. The device is IPX7 waterproof, and cleanup under warm water was trivial. Because of the bristle region, it needs to be left out to dry. This device is far from cheap, but it doesn't a good job at what it promises.Pros:** Soft bristles can develop some lather from anything you want to apply to your face** Feels good on the face and gets the job done without undue abrasion** Comfortable in the hand** IPX7 waterproof and easily washableCons:** Relatively expensive** No battery level indicator on the device** No travel case or electronic travel lockout on the device
