uxcell-a14010700ux0262 Open Frame Magnet Electromagnet Solenoid, 6V, 2 Mm, 35 G, 1 Mm, 80 G Force

I purchased two other products similar to this one to test out in my project. I ended up going with this one because it worked so much better. It's not big and does not have a lot of force but it gets the job done. I would highly recommend! One thing to note is that I wouldn't leave it on for too long. After about 20 seconds of being I noticed that it started getting warm.

Sort of works, but pitifully weak at 5V. Moving up to about 6V increased the pull with no noticeable heat rise but my application requires 5V.

Very weak, even at 6v (I bought 4 and they all had the same problem). If there is even a slight force on the shaft then it will not move. I tested with a bench power supply which provided as much current as it wanted (about 130ma), so power wasn't the problem.

Doing the math, this is technically a 12v solenoid that still works at 6v. (And 5v).Added it to a dz60 via 5V VCC pinout, and it works perfectly as a mechanical keyboard solenoid.
