I absolutely love my Instant Pot Duo Plus 8-Quart! It’s truly a versatile appliance that has transformed my cooking experience. The whisper-quiet operation is a big plus, especially when cooking during family movie nights or quiet evenings.The 8-quart capacity is ideal for larger meals, which is perfect for my family gatherings. I’ve made soups, yogurt, steamed veggies, and even tender roasts, all with incredible results. The included app with over 800 recipes has been a lifesaver—it’s like having a personal chef in my pocket.Cleanup is super easy with the stainless steel pot, and I appreciate how intuitive and user-friendly the controls are. The media could not be loaded. this instant pot was revered as one of the best and after using it a few times i can see why! upon first receiving it, this thing was definitely waay bigger than i thought it would be. it takes up a lotttt of counter space! and i have a small kitchen.. but it keeps me from having to buy a huge pot so it’s a nonnegotiable and essential item to batch cook meals for later. one of my favorite features is the whisper quiet function cuz if you’ve had any instant pots in the past, it gets noisy! i love how user friendly it is and how it lets you know when it’s preheating, cooking, and warming. my meals finish so quickly and thoroughly. this thing is amazing and i love love lovvve it!i will say that i did have a little trouble in the beginning when i was first trying to use it. when i selected “pressure cook” and i selected an option (ex: beans) it never finished preheating and i wasted many hours thinking it was cooking when it wasn’t 🥲 needless to say, i had a really late dinner that night lol. ended up figuring that i just needed to select custom when pressure cooking and manually set the time and pressure. this could also just be a user error though (don’t come for me, i did not read the user manual okkk 😆) the only thing i genuinely have a complaint about is the color of the start button. it’s a darker green which blends in so makes it easy to miss. other than that, this is honestly such great value for money, as well as safe and easy to use once you figure it out.

This is a very nice quality instant cooker! I really like having it to cook my foods so quickly and good! I like all the features it has and it is easy to use. I like the stainless steel cooking pot. I am very happy with my purchase!

I had my 6 quart Instant Pot for the past 15 years, but it had no Sous Vide function, so decided to upgrade to the new one. The first time I used it, I did not remove paper seal from one of the parts inside the top, and it created a giant mess. Then I thought it takes forever to warm up before cooking compared to my old Instant Pot. I put it on 'Saute' function first, and it seemed to do the trick for the first few weeks. Now I don't notice it being slow heating up, maybe it needed some time to get used to.I have cooked beans, rice, dumplings, used Sous Vide funciton, and have made yogurt in this device.Yogurt and Sous Vide are amazing and easy to cook, I especially love Sous Vide funciton, and appreciate that I can set the temperature. The meat turns out absolutely delicious, and I don't even need to buy special sous vide bags, I just use Ziploc brand, which is sous vide certified, and it's very cost effective.When I cook beans, this instant pot seems to cook them not as well as my 15 year old one, so I make sure I soak the beans first, and I set some extra time to cook them. Otherwise, this is an exceptional device, and I can't say enough how much time it saves me in cooking! After getting used to and workout out some issues, this is my new favorite device!

It’s a very good slow cooker. Volume of contents is large at 8 qt. Easy to clean. Because it’s multifunctional and programmable it requires a few more steps than a basic slow cooker but easy to learn how to use it. I plan on doing other things like steaming rice and sou vide meats. I’ll let you know how they turn out.
