The nodpod puts the weights right on the eyelids. Not overbearing, just super comfortable and soothing. Luckily, I don't usually have problem falling asleep. The slightly added weigh and blocking out of lights help me fall asleep even faster.I love that it's machine washable and dryable. Seems good quality. No straps so nothing is in my way when I sleep on my side. I read in other review that there is a warm side for the winter and a cool side for the summer, which is an unexpected feature. The product has no smell at all which is great. I assume people can put essential oils on it if desired.I've bought another type of weighted eye mask that looks like a regular sleeping mask, but about an inch bigger in the circumference, with the weighted materials surrounding the outside rims, i.e. nothing touching the eyelids. That didn't do anything for me. Maybe that's to reduce eyebags or something for others.

Where do I start?? This thing is magic! I love my nodpod mask and I sleep with it every night. The cooling side feels so nice and high-quality. The weight of it is perfect and makes you feel so comfortable. I’m a side sleeper, and this is the only mask that has been comfortable for me. Plus, it blocks out so much light! I was able to sleep with the lights on a few times while wearing this! It’s really worth the price in my opinion. It also makes a great gift!

I only leave reviews for things that are exceptionally good or bad. And I had no plans to leave a review for this. But, six months later, here I am. I find I use it every day and I believe it helps me to fall asleep faster and sleep more soundly.I originally saw it on a Buzzfeed list and was intrigued. I am light sensitive - even with my eyes closed. I had tried other eye masks but the ones that go all of the way around the head usually have some sort of size adjustment mechanism that gets tangled in my hair and is a pain to get in and out of easily. And there were usually gaps around the edges that let in some light unless you get it just right and don't move.But the NodPod is soft fabric weighted with little pellets that flow into all of those gaps for complete darkness. I like that it can just rest on my head without being fastened all of the way around my head. If I need to get up, it comes off instantly by itself. It can, however, also be worn fastened around the head. There is a little hole in the fabric in one end that you can feed the cloth through on the other and - no mechanism to get tangled in my hair or irritate my scalp.There are 4 weighted segments. So if I sleep on my back, the ones next to my eyes cover my ears to also help to muffle sounds. If I sleep on my side, it still has the same effect. I just lay it over my head and the weights flow into the gaps and provide complete darkness and muffle sounds.I liked it so much I recently gifted one to my bestie and she loves it too. We smile at night knowing we are both enjoying our NodPods. I didn't expect it like it this much - but there you have it.

I struggle with insomnia and have tried all kinds of sleep aids—nothing really worked long-term until I found the Nodpod Gentle Pressure Sleep Mask. Yes, it's a bit on the pricier side, but honestly, it's been completely worth it for me. I did purchase it during the Spring sale so I saved a couple of bucks.The gentle pressure feels incredibly calming, almost like a weighted blanket for your eyes. It helps signal to my body that it's time to wind down and rest. The material is soft and soothing, and I love that it blocks out light without putting any uncomfortable pressure on my face.If you're on the fence because of the price, I get it—but if you have trouble falling or staying asleep like I do, this could be a total game-changer like it was for me.

The weight of this feels light at first but it really is the perfect weight for the eye area. It is super soft and good quality and helps me relax at night, in fact I haven’t slept without it since I bought it. But I wish this product was able to be microwaveable , I feel it would be next level if I could warm it up now that I’ve discovered that I love a weighted face mask. At a price point if 34 I feel like that should be an added feature. I also like the use of both fabrics on different sides that are both soft and I switch between the two. Also perfect for someone who doesn’t need a face mask to stay on all night but long enough to relax and fall asleep

I have been looking for a good weighted eye mask for a while. I have struggled to find a weighted mask that is heavy enough to provide pressure but not so heavy that it hurts my eyes. I have found that most one will put too much pressure on my eye itself which is not comfortable. I get headaches and end up normally sleeping with a pillow over my eyes to give weight and block out the light.This is the first time I have found an eye mask that works for me. The nod pod is a lighter weight than some other weighted eye masks and so I was initially worried that it wouldn't be heavy enough but it ended up being perfect. I love that it can be washed. I put it in the freezer the other day and it was just the right amount of cold which gave me relief but wasn't so cold to hurt my eyes.One thing that surprised me is the way that it is designed when you sleep on your back you get the weight on your face but also you can feel light pressure on the side of your heads - which worked great for me. It works great for side sleeping as well which is a nice bonus since it gives you more options when you sleep.The light weight nature of it will also make it great for traveling
