Clay's WED Clay (EM-217) - 50lbs

Great stuff. Dries relatively slow (takes about a day for a 1" thick piece to fully dry), kind of gummy at first but if you let it dry a little before working it its nice and firm and takes detail well. Makes a great medium for relatively large pieces like masks, or a good armature/filler material for smaller pieces in oil clay. Cheap enough to experiment with without worrying about losing expensive modeling media. Can also be almost completely recycled by soaking dried pieces in water for a few hours. Good modeling material to have handy and very versatile.

Great clay to sculpt with. Exactly what you'd expect from a WED formulation. Arrived way way ahead of schedule, so I was very happy with the seller. The price averaged out to just under a dollar per pound, which is a substantial hike from the 50 cents a pound others have paid not so long ago, but all WED sellers I found seemed to be selling at roughly a dollar per pound, so I have to accept this as the current going rate. Will probably buy again once I'm finished.

Fast delivery. Great product. Looking forward to making clay molds. Updated.... a wonderful clay to work with. It is easy to mold and shape. It is very easy to use and keeps it shape once made. This was important because I needed to use the clay molds to make over 25 lioness masks for a school production of "Lion King". Highly recommend the clay.

I have always wanted to try this clay out. I know it's one of the preferred clays by professional. I don't have a local source that will sale this type of clay so this was my only way to get it without paying hundreds of dollars in shipping. I wish their shipping method weren't USPS because I took longer than the estimated time and when it did come the package was very damage. However, the clay itself was fine. Still its the best way I can get this clay. The seller was easy to work with and understood my shipping concerns. They were very pleasant to work with.

I received my package really fast. I absolutely love this clay! Very easy to work with. I can work with it, adding water as need, and it doesn't dry out super fast. I'll update after I finish my current project, as of now this is my favorite.

This is by far the best price, fastest shipment of wed clay you will find anywhere. I use this for creating molds for foam latex stop motion puppets. A little FYI, if this clay gets dry (even if it gets completely dry) just add a little water, and it is completely revived. This is awesome stuff.

AWESOME clay! I love this stuff! I've been pulling masks off the same mold for almost two months and it's still pliable! Covered when not using, of course, but I think I'll be able to scrape off the top layer and reuse it for another animal mask. Great stuff!!
