They are exceptionally thick, leak-proof and also easily knotted, which is obviously the most important part of keeping the smell at bay.

I have a fairly small dog but the bags are a pretty decent size. More than large enough to fit your whole hand in so plenty big enough for bigger poops. They can be used as nappy disposal bags so that should give you an idea of how much you can fit in there. They don’t have tie handles tho

Q: Are these bags easy to open? I don't want to play tug of war, especially when it's raining.

They are easy to open and they come off the reel folded. I can usually open them with one hand and some shaking. As a side note, they smell great.
