Perfet Filter Mesh Material! Light Years Better Than Cheesecloth!
I love this stuff! I actually bought it to make a home made evaporative cooler cleaner pouches using gypsum. I wanted micro filtration for slow release. Works beautifully! As a HUGE bonus, this turns out to be the ultimate filter material for all kinds of herbal preparations including tea, as well as just about anything you would like to filter or extract. Two big examples for me are the filtering of aloe vera and home made tea made from loose herbs, not tea bags.Example 1: When juicing or blending fresh aloe vera, if one attempts to put pureed or juiced aloe vera into a spray bottle with only a tea strainer used for straining the aloe vera, you WILL ruin and destroy your spray bottle's sprayer attachment. BUT, if you first place some of this material in a tea strainer, and then strain the processed aloe vera through the same tea strainer, you will get NO solids, and it will NEVER wreck your sprayer, because it will NOT clog!Example 2: Loose herb tea: Basically the same scenario. Without this material in the tea strainer, tea leaf solids will be in your tea, which is unpleasant and not too enjoyable. WITH this material in the tea strainer, you will have perfectly strained tea, with ZERO solids. Wonderful!I am sure that this material will also be invaluable for straining any type of herbal oil extracts, such as herbalized olive oil or avocado oil. This material being nylon, it doesn't absorb your valuable oils like cheesecloth, nor does it tear and rip if you squeeze it really hard to remove all of the extract (again, I have not tried it for oils yet, but based on my very hard squeezing of the material to strain aloe vera, this material is IDEAL for straining oil extracts). It's also easily washable with soap and water. Obviously any pieces used for oil extracts should be set aside and used only for other oil extracts after washing and drying. I cut squares about ten by ten inches. Pro Tip: To hold the mesh in place while you are pouring your tea/aloe/extract or whatever you wish to filter through the strainer, simply attach clothespins to secure the material to the edges of the strainer. Leave them in place for all pouring of liquids. Afterward, remove the clothespins, grab the material carefully by the edges and twist it into a little bundle and squeeze as hard as you care to without worrying about ripping the material.Forget Cheesecloth! This is the Stuff!

So happy with this!!
I cheaped out and bought a very inexpensive robotic pool cleaner....the machine itself is amazing, covers the entire pool, climbs walls, runs 3 hours on a charge..super impressed EXCEPT the mesh material in debris catch basket is so large dirt blows right through, picks up everything else, but dirt is my big pool issue. So I thought and thought and bought this fabric, created a pattern and made a cover to go over the basket. I'm sure with tighter mesh I loose some suction, but it worked. Ran the cleaner today and it's full of dirt and everything that was in pool. I bought the 500 and 400, as I was unsure if the 500 would be too much for the cleaner. The 400/35 micron worked well and I made 3 covers out of one piece of fabric....next time I'll try the 350 but my guess is 400 was about right. Nice fabric and worked so well for my purpose.

The mesh makes great air filters for steel PC cases
Used it to make 150 micron air filters for my PC cases. It was sandwiched between 1/2" W x 1.5mm T single adhesive magnetic tape and 1/2" W 1/16" T single adhesive white neoprene tape. The photo is my first attempt at making air filters. It gives the front of the white Cooler Master Qube 500 case an nice open skeletal look. Also made filters for the back and the bottom, where fans are installed.

Used to fix a Pool Robot Filter tray
Took a shot at redoing the filter test screen on my pool robot . I cut to size , use a razor blade instead of Scissors. I used waterproof glue .
