Duratrax Deep Woods CR C3 Mounted 2.2" Crawler Tires Chrome 2 DTXC4043

Very pleased with these tires over the stock tires. Mounted on beadlock rims with no issues. Used the foam supplied and so far I think they will be fine for my use. Tires really locked onto the rock while climbing, much more traction than stock tires. World of difference over the last time I crawled in this area. Price is real reasonable and well worth the investment. Much better traction in the dirt and mud, held the rock even when tread had dirt in them, they do clean out nicely when muddy. Better traction on dirt inclines, over trees roots and loose dirt. Slightly bigger than stock I might do a little trimming on the truck they will hit on a compressed turn you hear a little popping as the lugs hit the plastic tray. It’s only when the shocks are fully compressed. Deep Woods Measured 123mm tall x 46mm wide (4.84”x 1.81”) after mounted on bead locks. Just to compare the AT KO’s were 117 x 42mm (4.60”x1.65”). This rubber feels much softer to me than the stock. Beadlocks were not vented used the smallest leather punch I have and put holes between the tread across opposite side of the tire this worked great. Overall very pleased, will see how they hold up.Update; after about 8 months of running these tire still performing great. I did change to a 2 stage foam with soft outers on the front and medium outers on the back. Huge improvement in the side hill stability of the scx10ii. With the foams that came with the tires had to much sidewall roll and couldn’t hold on the rocks very well, would end up rolling over. (Last picture) I haven’t run the tires in water or snow but I think the original foams broke down. Tires still stick great, crawled with another 10ii with the Pro-line hyrax tires on and stayed right with him. I was able to get a couple lines up the rocks he couldn’t get the grip on. Still super pleased with the tires, would suggest 2 stage foams.

Installed this on my Gen8, and lets just say it looks awesome, nice stance and yes it def increases the overall height. Very sticky tires which can cause my RedCat to hop off all 4 tires off the grass if you are using it with a 3S Lipo Batt. Do not do a full stop coming from a full speed on payment, it will actually do a forward flip onto itself. Very impressed. Tires are also very soft which I like, cause it can conform to rocks and other objects, tons more than the original tires. I need to trim on the Cat's fender body (very small amount), buy taller shocks, longer tie rods to make it fit perfectly without any body rub. I might buy a 5-7mm hub extensions to also give it a wider stance. I only had them for a day now... So will try to update (if I remember) if anything goes wrong with them... but right now I am very happy with the purchase.

Great tires! I have them on all my rigs. Soft and sticky for rock crawling and open lugs to claw through loose dirt. Foams are not the greatest, but still trying to figure out what works the best. Used duel and single stage, duel seems the best of the 2 but haven't tried memory foam yet.

The tires themselves are awesome, very sticky and the tread pattern digs into anything. Unfortunately the tires inner diameter seems just a few mm too large to properly seat in my Injora beadlocks. The foam is relatively firm and is the appropriate stiffness for my 8-9lb TRX-4, however it's just a touch too large making it crumple up into itself creating flat spots in the tire. I tried for about 30 minutes to reshape the foam and cut areas where necessary, but still ended up with some lopsided tires.

Glue is secure, rims nice, priced right. Super sticky, perfect foams for my area crawling, rocks/bridges/logs. Great Conformity, gave my Ever 10 needed pumpkin clearance, while not making it top heavy/wishy washy...IF you stretch the shocks out, make them stand up straight...and set it up right...(see youTube) you'll love these on it. The old slug goes ANYWHERE now..... Good buy.

This set of Deep Woods tires are hands down one of the best. They are very grippy and soft rubber. I did not use them with the supplied foams I am using them with a dual stage foam. They performed excellent in snow and ice, excellent in mud and water, excellent in just about all the trail conditions. Highly recommend thease tires to any one with a crawler.

Amazing tire with great traction, they will need a better foam, with a set of dual stage foams (im running CI med rear and soft front with a fairly heavy truck) they will go anywhere the proline TSL XL will go. Again they need a foam to shine, the stock ones are lump incorrectly sized and way to soft.

Nice wheel and tire set, if they ran true. Way out of round. Wobble like crazy and too late to send back.UPDATE: They looked so good on my Bronco with the black chrome wheels; I did the acetone trick and remounted them. WOW. Now they run true and Im glad I kept them

Duratrax is a brand of tire that is hard to find these days. Really big 2.2 x 5.9 tires that have a soft grippy compound. Been happy using them on my lifted TRX4 Defender.

I personally dislike the look of these tires, but they work great, I’ve only used them in snowy conditions so far but definitely great they are sticky and flex like a Pro-Line predator tire so can’t complain

Las llantas se ven muy bien, son suaves y buen agarre. Los rines son de plástico y vienen pegadas por lo que no sePueden plomar. Una de las ruedas salió chueca, pero no se puede esperar demasiado por el precio ñ.

Der Reifen mit dem besten Grip. Schaut genau so aus wie der Louise CR Champ, performt aber deutlich besser. Ich werde Ihn mir wieder kaufen.
