Great Filament for any type of prints and
First time I'm using ,Proto-pasta Highfive Metallic Blue HTPLA 1.75mm and it was great. My printer is a Creality CR10 settings that I used were Bed 45 C, nozzle 215 C, and the standard basic settings for PLA on Ultimaker Cura 4.8.0 also using a Creality Glass bed and to adhere to bed Elmer's Glue stick and it work perfect. I been printing for a year and this is my first roll of Proto-pasta Highfive Metallic Blue HTPLA And I can say its been my best filament to print. It's more expensive than the normal PLA but it's worth it and I will continue to use it and I highly recommend it.

Great surface finish, great strength, just some tricky bed adhesion issues
I should say up front that despite the bed adhesion issues, I still love and use this filament. I usually use a sheet of PEI for bed adhesion but no matter what I did (including working with ProtoPasta directly) I could not get it to stick. The simple solution is to use painters tape whenever I am printing with this filament, and it works extremely well. ProtoPasta thinks that it's an issue with the way this material anneals, and that it's possible the annealing is happening during the print so it's warping off the bed. Regardless, if you are looking for a really tough PLA with a nice finish that hides layer lines well, I haven't found anything better.

Great except heat treating is difficcult
I love this filament color and how it prints. No problems there. It goes down well and prints look amazing. The ONLY problem I've had is trying to heat treat items post print. This is completely optional, prints are amazing without it.. But... I have tried the oven several ways from their site's instructions as well as YouTube videos but all my attempts have warped. They are annealed, but warped. That is my only complaint on this. I want to heat treat some parts but haven't found a great way to do so well. Any help Proto-Pasta could provide in documentation or demo videos to get the best possible results would be great. I recently saw some videos on water treating and baking using sand which I haven't tried yet and so i may adjust this rating if I can find a method that works reliably.

Prints great
Filament prints great and looks great. My only complaint is that the texture is rough on the print which could just be something I need to adjust in my settings so I can't fault the product

Great filament!
I have purchased different filament brands in the past and printed different models. I have to say that this Proto Pasta High-five filament not only has a great color ( definitely above my expectations ) but also prints flawlessly. I have not tried the annealing process yet so I cannot speak to that. A couple things I would like to see: better packaging like the other pro brands and more filament (1Kg instead of 500g haha). The recyclable cardboard spool is a great touch though!

Gorgeous Color and Prints Very Nicely
Color is a bit pricey but I appreciate the recyclable spool and domestic manufacturer, and the stuff itself is really nice and consistent.

Excellent
This is some of the nicest filament I've used and parts come out looking amazing in this color. It's worth the extra price for premium filament.

Excellent 3-D printing filament
This is wonderful filament. Heat tempers with very little shrinkage. Wonderful color love this metal flake.

Excellent - if you REQUIRE HTPLA
Prints absolutely beautifully! Extrudes very evenly, layer adhesion seems great (printed @230C), bridges well and is quite resistant to warping. Have had mixed results with annealing, which does work well but seems to have significant shrinkage along the xy axes and expansion along the z axis (though I feel with practice it would likely be possible to reduce the degree to which this occurs). My only real complaint is the price, it is absolutely an excellent filament but unless you specifically require HTPLA for your application there are many cheaper and equally excellent filaments available.

The print quality was outstanding at 200C on my crs20-pro
I printed using cura 4.1 with creawsome mod and the 0.2mm profile. It printed perfect with no stringing or any defects I can see. Super impressed with the quality and can't wait to print something else. I will say it had a stronger smell than my plain black pla so make sure to have good ventilation. Also ordered from Amazon global and it was shipped to the UK in a week.
