It just works :)
The media could not be loaded. I do like the product. If you actually look a bit you can find eg: google.com all the software and instructions you need. At a poultry $35-36 I would not bitch to much if you can not find answers in google. I have 3 running at work for over a year with no issues to recall. I am playing with some other external antenna options that may increase wifi range which is limited on this imbedded wifi module but this "was" expected on a $35-$36 unit.Running on a FPP setup on rpi4b as scene controllerFYI: the seller helped me with a goofy acting wemos module " a +++"Overall I am happy with the results. To remember:SSID with password!wifi extenders if needed!Things I want:Lan RJ45 version!External Antenna!Overall for my purposes I give a 8/10 rating in hardware setup and longevity.....!!!!Ty bro

This Product makes addressable lighting easy
I purchased this product in place of other dedicated controllers because it was compact and seemed well designed. When I received the product I was surprised at how easy it was to get setup with the instructions provided on their website. The web interface is great for diagnosing or running the lights standalone and it isn't much larger than the 'stock controllers with the IR remotes' you find on cheap addressable lights. At some point I will transition to synchronized lights, but this was 'dipping my toe in the water' for addressable lights and was very pleased at how user-friendly it was and this will certainly be my go-to for controlling addressable lights.

Amazing Smart LED WiFi Controller for under $20
I read the reviews and was very skeptical. For $20 I would take a chance and it paid off. This is an amazing little device (it fits inside a 1" PVC pipe). The manufacturer reminds you that will need a USB programming cable (carried by Amazon as well) so I purchased the one they recommended. I did have to use a newer version of the beta software to program the ESPixel Stic, but after that it was a breeze. The manufacturer (Shelby) answered all my questions through Facebook, even with the threat of the imminent hurricane in his area. Awesome product, I will be purchasing more of these and have been recommending these to friends. I still can't believe this tiny board will control over 600 Smart LED's with just voltage in and a wireless signal.

Very good little controller
When I received item it would not power on. Contacted seller whom responded quickly to get my issue resolved quickly. This controller is definitely worth the price for it's size and function. Will absolutely buy more as my needs require!I first bought one a few years ago (first review above). I have since purchased a couple more of the latest revision. These are much simpler to program. I’m using them to run 2 Light-O-Rama controllers in DMX mode. One controller is controlling the lights on my neighbors house next to mine, the other is across the street. Best solution for the price. Have not had any issues!

Great product and works as advertised
I own sereral of these sticks from V2 hardware to V3 and they are the easiest way to get pixels on props wirelessly. I never had issues programing them on windows, linux, or mac. You just have to pay attention to the instructions, your hardware requirements, and if you can follow the github on the fireware so you understand how to program it. The java tool is very easy to use. If you not novice in IT or computer related projects you will have an hard time understanding basics but once you do its easy peasy! The firmware also works with ESPixelNods from Jboards as well.

As easy as it gets
The media could not be loaded. Its an awesome piece of kit. As easy as it gets. Serup is a breeze. There is a youtube video that shows you how to flash the V3 and it take 10 minutes to download everything you need and flash it. After downloads it take literally 45 seconds to flash each board. I dont get what the negative reviews are trying to accomplish here.

Not a kit, it's an adventure in frustration
Day 1 review: It's sold as a kit with instructions on the specified web site. It's really a piece of non-intuitive hardware with absolutely no instructions whatsoever. It's an adventure in web searching and frustration. The currently selling board is a V3, the instructions on the web site are for a V2. The V3 has a micro USB port for flashing the firmware, so ignore anything you see about needing the special programming cable. Can it be powered by either 5V or 12V? Can't say! The V2 could, but you had to set a jumper. No jumper on the V3, so is it safe to assume it can use 12V? I guess I'll find out. Does it use the same firmware as the V2? Nothing says so explicitly, but I think it does. Will I get it to work? Probably. Should I have to jump through hoops to make it work? Absolutely not! Do YOU want to jump through hoops? You decide. Am I likely to change my rating after I figure it out, regardless of how well it does the job? Nope!Hint to other buyers: This uses a Wemos D1 mini module. That should help in your web searching. To the seller: Put a small instruction sheet in the package pointing to a web site that actually contains the needed instructions and either the software or a pointer to it. Might get you five starts instead of one.
