Q: How would this work for a circus Lyra?

I tried this for my lyra and it was awful. The adhesive sides to the back when unraveled to tape your lyra so it’s extremely sticky and gets al over your hands and clothes. The adhesive also bleeds out of the tape when warmed (your hands hold one spot of the lyra too long). It does this even when you chalk over the sticky parts. The zigzag sides also roll and fray even when you do tape correctly. I gave up on it after two days. I use meister brand instead and that works a whole lot better

Q: Is this the best brand? The quality of how?

It’s a little stickier than the traditional white tape, which can make it tough to tape quickly for ankles or more complex jobs. However it’s a nice smooth tape and lays flat against the skin

Q: This was recommended to me to cover itchy seams of my daughter's dance costumes... has anyone used it for something similar? Will it stick to fabric?

Yes, just to get the answer to your question, I tried this out on material, and found that this tape sticks better to material, than it does skin! It sticks very well to material, so well, you may want to be careful when pulling it off material.

Q: Is it absorbant? Good for sweaty hands on a pullup bar?

NO this tape falls off the instant it gets wet or sweaty DO NOT USE
