I used this text book for a child psychology class. I found that it focused too much on life span development and opinions. A great deal of focus on the book, and of course the class, was equity and inclusion. I found that what could have been explained in a section of a chapter spanned several chapters covertly. I would not see anything wrong with that if it was what the book were titled. It is intended, however, to be a child psychology textbook.On a positive note, the application side to the textbook is well written and informative. It may be a useful guide in the future, especially if I become a teacher. It is also helpful to understand the viewpoints of others whom are focused in a similar manner on the diversity component.
