Well, what can I say? Everything came in a small 6- or 7-inch cube-shaped box, easy to store, if need be, and easy to wrap, if giving as a gift. For the price, I wasn't expecting much besides the basics: pots-- four jiffy pots and one slightly larger plastic pot, seeds--they gave me six kinds instead of four, but the advertised 4 were present as well as the two freebies, four wooden stakes to write the name of the tree on when planting, the little snips, which look like they should be adequate for the job, a very small--8 or10 page--instruction book, and the 4 compressed disks for planting seeds in. If you plan to use all the seeds, you'll need a few more pots and soil for starting seeds in, and the ones provided are small enough that they'll quickly be outgrown--but the minimum requirements are here for getting started. Seed counts were low, about ten to fifteen per packet, except for the wisteria, which only had around six, but those are larger seeds. If you plan to use all the provided seeds, extras you'll no doubt wish you had are more pots and soil, some nice ceramic pots for transplanting the seedlings into, instructions for pruning and training-free on the internet- and some wire for shaping the limbs as they grow. All easily obtainable but not strictly necessary to start the seeds provided in the kit. My suggestions for improving the kit would be to double the number of fiber disks, make sure the names of the species are complete on the packet--one that I received had 'flame' as the only whole word, and enlarge and darken the names on all of the seed packets. All in all, a nice, basic kit to get you started, but you'll definirely need some additional supplies after a while. One of my Mimosa seeds started sprouting the day after planting, the second in that pot began sprouting a few days later, none of the rest are showing signs of activity yet but it's been less than a week. One final bit of advice for the seller--don't bother providing difficult to start seeds in starter kits--chances are, anyone buying it is a beginner who doesn't want to take the time, in the case of the Judas Tree seeds, to soak them for twenty-four hours, wrap them in a moist paper towel, place them in a ziplock bag, and refrigerate for five or so weeks with periodic trips out of the refrigerator to open the bag and give them fresh air.

So only THREE Seeds Are Growing. ((See two images with the dresser in it.)) I dont have a shot of the Wisteria yet because its being shy and just growing its roots down but its growing in the blue and white pot there that is my Daughters because I have a Big version of it Im going to grow my "Momma Wisteria" In and shes growing hers thats going to be the "Baby Wisteria" Anyway, AFTER I busted my Assets off to get them to grow; I had to do it again to Keep them alive because soon as they got leaves they got some kinda Blight!! But through careful trimming ((See the picture with the mattress corner)) and watering and cleaning of the soil I have kept them alive....IDK what seeds they even are anymore....Anyway the Rest didnt even Grow and One of the Judas Plant seeds had a dang on BUG inside it....LITERALLY....Lioe some kinda tiny Grub. I followed the directions Exactly. The Japanese Maple literally just turned to Mush. And I didnt make the napkin that wet when I put them in the fridge. I am BEYOND Disappointed. I am EXCELLENT at growing things. From Cacti, To Orchids, To Roses, To Venus Fly Traps. I Have Grown EVERYTHING....Something is VERY Wrong with these seeds. They seem like theyve sat around too long and have died. Or maybe during shipping they had then somewhere Entirely too hot and roasted them. Either way....ONE Wisteria Seed and ONE Pomegranate And I Believe its ONE Flame tree that grew out of ALL those seeds. Thats TERRIBLE. The rest literally just vanished in the soil OR just turned to mush like theyre already dead. And again the one Judas seed had a tiny grub of some kind inside it that seemed to have eaten the seed flesh. Anyway I wouldnt buy again. Plus the nonsense to get the "Free gift" is nonsense. No Thank You. Ive bought some Cherry Blossom Tree seeds and Im just going to grow those if these do not make it. But....With my skills I think theyll be fine.

The kit came with many seeds, I was excited. I've gone through the recommended steps to start the seeds and only 2 of the seeds are beginning to sprout. I won't buy this again.

Great for a gift. Especially when you don’t know what a gardener would prefer. A very unique gift.

Some did not germinate. However, the ones that did have been growing so fast! Great price and great quality.

Editing my review after a month or so I left all the seeds that we're still not mush in my greenhouse. Which was 3 seeds 2 of one kind and 1 of another I have no idea at this point which was which. One was a flat huge long one and another was a small flat oval black one.They, all 3 ended up sprouting, so I guess this had about. 10 % germination rate. Just wish I knew what kind they were.I have had this now for months. I have followed the instructions to a tea. But some back story I am an avid green thumb Gardener and have always had a 90+ % germination rate with my methods but being my first ever go at tree see or the extra seeds they give you which I was beyond excited to try, I went with their instructions and now I am over a month and a half out with no signs of life at all.After I pulled them out of the fridge the bigger seeds were literal mush and I did not use much water as I did exactly what their instructions said with the paper towel and water. So those were gone. And the rest were molded of the big seeds were molded.But I didn't give up as they gave 2 extra sets of seeds and I tried those. Nope not one of them have grown.I was really looking forward to it after all the good reviews and thinking since I haven't ever had a bad germination. But who knows maybe it's because I didn't do it my way hahaha.Good luck everyone!Editing my review

This box arrived within a few days and included a lot - but I wish they had included more peat pods because there were no way enough for all the seeds. What do I think so far -the pictures say it all - but READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Also check out YouTube for useful info. I used a mini plastic seedling greenhouse I bought on Amazon and a red/blue grow lite to get these results Pic 1 was after 5 days with wisteria and 2 is after 10 days, had to transplant because the out grew the box as did one of the Flame Trees! (oh it came with 2 extra packs of seeds!) pic 4 and 5 shows the layout and the mini greenhouse. I did soak the seeds as directed for max time recommended but I also filed the hard seeds at one end until the seed was barely exposed then planted - I was surprised they did not mention this is the instructions because it does increase your chances of success. I will make another post when the other seeds have finished their rest time in the fridge (yes some MUST be in the fridge for 6-8 weeks, skip this and you may as well just planet them in the garbage). I would highly recommend this pack as a beginners kit - should really get 6 stars.

No me llego el instructivo, pero de ahí en mas todo perfecto, se ve bien todo de calidad, pero si falto ese pequeño detalle que creo es el importante, espero y en la pagina o algún lugar pueda venir el manual para poder seguir las instrucciones

Ordered this as a gift but it arrived in a bag, the box was crushed and ripped open. The wrong seeds are inside this box. Not what we ordered. Plus looking at the product the clippers are .50 cent thread trimmers, there is only 1 net pot for this process. And the bio pots are unstable and useless. It’s a better idea to buy the seeds you like and get a plant starter tray with a humidity dome. Way nicer experience. Then look for a proper bonsai tool set with all the goodies. Way better use of the budget.

The media could not be loaded.  Some of them never grew.The ones that did grow.This is a year later after growth.Their still going strong.
