Good bang for the buck
This is my second Danby dehumidifier. The first one lasted over 4 years, which is twice as long as two much more expensive dehumidifiers lasted. I don't know why they die so soon; I can remember the same dehumidifier in my home the whole time I was there when I was a kid. Anyway, now I'm happy if I can get 4 or 5 years out of them. This one is reasonably priced, and functions well. It is a bit louder than the previous one, but no big deal for me because of where I use it. Obviously just bought it, so we shall see how long it lasts.

If you are in the market. This is the way to go.
This bad boy has changed my life. I live in a one bedroom one bath basement and to say it gets humid is an understatement. I had a terrible proble with my wood doors swelling and not being about to shut, as well as mold in all the moist parts of the house. This amazing dehumidifier has gotten rid of all of that!! It has made it so my doors shut normally and the mold is not a problem. It is easy to move and operate. The bucket fills up in about a couple hours (depending on how humid it is) and I move it to different rooms every couple days (to really dry out the dark moist parts of the basement). This thing is life changing and I have nothing but love for it. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks and so far it has dried my North Carolina home out completely!!

It isn't terribly loud and it works well for a five hundred square foot apartment. However, it does use quite a bit of energy. The plastic coating over the buttons on top of the unit is starting to peel slightly. Overall, I am happy with the unit. It has dried up my apartment, and now that I only run it an hour or two a day, it is much more cost efficient.

Does the job!
It works very well! It's easy to empty out the tray when it gets full, I put the water on my plants! It has been doing a good job for the past few months. Would buy again if needed.

Short life.
I used it from May of 2019 until Sept of 2019 in a small attached garage. It was somewhat noisy but did a good job. We didn't use it in late fall or during the winter. When I plugged it in and attempted to use it this spring, it would seem to start but it was just a hum & there was no indication that the fan was running. When I called Danby they had me put it in the bathroom with the shower on. I did that & it kicked on but after an hour or so, it had produce not a drop of water. It was just over a year since I had purchased it, so out of warranty. So, $155 for 4 months of use. Very disappointed!

Works great!
I got the 30 lt and and small and really good. You hardly notice it. Not loud at all, just hear the fan. Works great!!! The house feels so much better and I am so happy I got it!

Works great!
Initially, I was emptying the tank a few times a day when I first set up in the basement. I bought a hose and used the valve on the back to have it continuously drain and it works wonderfully! My basement is no longer damp with an odor.

So far, so good.
We needed a unit small enough to sit on a kitchen sink counter in a small home which is used only on occasion. The house gets damp during the rainy months. The only water outlet on the first floor is the kitchen sink. This unit is perfectly sized for the counter, even though wall cabinets are overhead. We attached a small hose to the unit, and drain it into the sink. We have not used it long enough to rate its durability, but so far, it is great!

Works well
Works quiety, quickly and efficiently. My last one wasn’t working well and even after several days in a row couldn’t get humidity below about 50. While it doesn’t seem to want to go all the way to 35 it will go to 44 in a matter of hours. The room (in basement) feels much better and definitely less musty.

Small unit but perfect for our situation
Unit is functioning very well. We use the drain and have no issues.

Great product, louder than I expected though
We live in a basement apartment and it's been a, super humid summer so we ordered this hoping it might ease the humidity a bit. When we plugged it in, within two hours we noticed a huge difference! It runs for about 12-13 hours without needing emptied, so basically just empty it when I wake up and before I go to sleep. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's quite loud. If we owned a whole house and it was just in the basement it wouldn't be so bad, but since we live in the basement it's right in the living space so it's kinda a constant background noise to our lives now.

Digital Settings Allow for Precision.Auto Shut Off When Full, or use drain hose continuously
You can hook the included drain hose to drain into a hole continuously, or you can empty it once a day when it's full. It turns itself off when the reservoir is full. About a gallon. Very quiet, and a strong, adjustable fan, moves alot of air which helps in many ways as well. 10/10 on this machine.

Fan does not work
I will be contacting Danby tomorrow. The device and fan do no appear to be working. This will be a pain.
