Just what I wanted.

This will not play in older CD players. It would probably work on a computer or newer CD player. But I bought my CD player in 1998 and it doesn't recognize the format. And my Chromebook doesn't have a CD or DVD player. So I've never been able to try it out.

After some reviews I didn't know hoe easy this would be to use but I really like it! Great product!

I'am very pleased with the rendition of the Bible.

The audio sounds as good as any of the other Scourby audio I have heard. I checked all the files the one and two-star ratings were complaining about, and they are all there. As for the complaints of not being able to listen to the audio files, copying the MP3 files, etc. I would say some people are not computer-literate. All the MP3 files are their, they simply need to be copied to whatever device you wish to use.

I had read reviews that the volume on these varies quite a bit. I didn't really think that the variance would be very much. And, for the first few books, there wasn't any change in the volume levels. However; that changed. I have this in my car, loaded on a player, and the volume now varies to a great degree. Enough that I have to turn the volume WAY up to hear. Not very happy with this item.

Excellent quality, extremely well presented in neat handy carrying case, all discs clearly marked and individual tracks can be easily accessed. All discs in perfect condition. I was both thrilled and amazed at the low cost and cannot fault this item.

Alexander Scourby has in my opinion the best reading of the KJV, the only bible needed for English speakers.

Usually I drift off from listening to recorded Bibles, but Scourby's voice, pauses, diction are utterly compelling

Having both the cd and the MP3 version's, both are excellent in sound quality However advantage with the MP3 version is the ability to search for specific passages.

This is the best audio bible I have heard, and I urge everyone to buy it.
