These are perfect for fine snipping on house plants and outside for flowers. The lock slides up to lock very easy. The handles are comfy and thankfully in a loud color so you dont lose them in the grass, which is my big problem. Love them for trimming my plants. Nice and sharp! Can easily get in between tight spaces/close branches.

Great for trimming, would recommend getting a cleaning agent if you are using for harvest hemp, they do get gummed up pretty quickly but they are comfortable and fine enough to get all those small sugar leaves.

These were inexpensive when I bought them a while back and they do the job of trimming orchids. I like to torch the blades between plants to keep everything clean, so it's good to have a few inexpensive clippers at hand. I think the flame may make them dull faster, but it is sterile. These are a good size for trimming orchids or any small plants.

This is my first spring/summer in my house, and there are some nice rose bushes. However, I've never had any interest in flowers (though they are my flowers and now I kinda care, you should see my Lilies!!). Anyways, with great flowers comes great responsibility. After a heavy rain a few weeks ago my one rose bush collapsed to the ground. I didn't have any way to cut the nearly 1/2" stems. Luckily my neighbor what outside in the rain too, and he lent me some shears, and guided my cuts, and I got a really nice looking rose bush a few weeks later. Anyways, since then I've been looking for my own shears, and this product came up. They are mostly plastic, but actually feel really nice. I like the orange colour because I will set them down and lose them. The grip is really comfortable and I feel like I have total control. They cut the thickest part of my roses no problem (old dried cut stems and fresh live ones). My only complaint is that initially the lock was tough to unlock. After cycling it about a dozen times, it's a nice smooth movement, with solid hold. But all I could think of was that I don't think my mom could have worked this initially. Now it is fine though. I'm giving it 5 stars because it got there eventually. But if you have weak fingers, make sure you have someone to help initially, or look elsewhere. Though it's too bad if you do look elsewhere because these are comfortable and lightweight, and seem to have decent cutting force in a smaller package. Hopefully you can take the time and effort to loosen them up a bit.
