As good as the big expensive brands
I had a klein tools crimper and it was amazing, however I ended up loosing it after years of service and needed one in a hurry so I got this one, I thought it would be a temporary solution until I got another klein, but honestly Ill keep this one as it is very well built, all metal, feels good in the hand, super easy to use, comes with a small picture reference diagram thing, which is always good to have a visual reference, it feels the proper size in the hand not too large and not too small and it is good for quick jobs, this wont slow you down in any way. Its a good quality item. Once you get used to it, you will be making pumping out cables insanely quick. Shipped quick with overnight prime and they even included a few free connectors and sleeves.

Works Great - CAT5-6 Cable Manufacturers don't Follow the Color Code Standards - Beware.
The tool works great. Here is what they don't tell you. If you are repairing cables you will find out that the vendors don't use the coloring code wiring standard, therefore you will have to replace the cable ends on both ends for every cable you do. I cut the excess cable off on a camera system I was installing which came with 50 or 100 foot cables to find every cable had a different color code. Lesson learned - Buy a roll of bulk cable and make your own. The tool is great - the cable manufacturers suck.

Great product. Consider it required and your DIY cabling gets far less challenging.
Have about 30 ReoLink security cameras / multiple NVRs installed. At least two RJ45 connectors on each. Has been a real pain to customize the length of my cables (to minimize the mess) when it takes so long to install a termination UNTIL I found this kit. Solid, works well and as advertised. Makes stringing these little guys easy for an older guy that has a slightly harder time seeing the tiny little wires. Wish I had found this a couple of years ago but am a cable stringing happy guy now. Thx

Works well and does the job.
I had to make a cable for some equipment at work. The crimping tool made quick work of this task and the cable tester quickly verified my workmanship. I recommend this product!

Works better than any I’ve had before
I got this because I had unknowingly purchased pass through RJ45 ends. This crimped is amazing and so are pass through as a concept. No more wasted plugs from end that flip at the last second that you don’t notice. Never going back to non pass through ends. I tossed the ones I had left laying around.

Looks complicated? It’s not. Easy DIY
Who hasn’t broken one of these clips? If you deal with Ethernet clips, eventually they break or perhaps you “DIY” a new cable. Either way, excellent and reasonably priced product.

Did not work
Because of new Internet service to my home which required moving the router to the garage, I needed to run an Ethernet cable approximately 30 ft. between floors. I purchased a spool of Cat-6 cable and this kit to terminate the cable. Having followed the instructions precisely, upon crimping/trimming the pass through connectors, the cable did not work. When plugged into the router and uplink port on the switch, the lights on the switch did not light up, hence no connection. I cut off and redid both ends about 4 times without success. Sometimes the tester would show position 1 not active, other times the tester showed that the cable was terminated ok. I decided that I must have damaged the wire when pulling it through the hole, so I cut a new section of cable and carefully fished it though. Repeated the process of cutting and re-doing the connectors, no success.Next, I purchased the Klein crimp tool (80024) and a pack of their plugs. First try, success. The lights on the switch lit up like a Christmas tree. I will occasionally go cheap on a tool that I plan to use very infrequently, but in this case, not recommended.
