This gel cushion has been working for me for a couple years. When my expensive office chair, where just about every feature is great, except the seat cushion gave out in less than a year. The gel cushion helped relieve and alleviate tailbone pain I was experiencing. Even though the cover has anti-skid bumps, it still moves around quite a bit, always having to readjust it. Not a terrible problem for me, when again, it helps with the pain. And though not the thickest gel cushion, it is enough to do a good job. And the lesser thickness actually helps to sit comfortably on my chair.Though all these gel cushions provide comfort and relief, the vast majority, and I tried several, especially the thick ones, like the memory foam types, the cushion is too small for the average corporate sized office chair. I tried several and returned several. The small size makes you either not quite as supported in the back, and if the cushion is pushed back, then you feel like you're going to slip off the front edge of the chair. I don't understand why there are so many of these cushions that don't cover the full area of the original office chair seat.Lastly, though my gel cushion continues to help well with comfort, it has shrunk a bit, and has become a bit of an irregular quadrilateral. So make sure you can get the largest area size you can afford. Mine originally was like 18x16. I personally also did feel that the honeycomb design was more comfortable than the square pattern gel cushions. Good luck, and hope you can find one that gives you comfort and pain relief.

This cushion is average size not extra large. I had previously bought a cushion like this one and it is extra large. I was disappointed because I thought I had ordered the cushion like I had previously bought. Other than that this cushion is very comfortable, the cover looks and feels cheap, and there is no handle on it, and it is smaller that the first one I had bought.

I bought this honeycomb seat cushion to use on a padded office chair that gets hard after several hours of use. I wanted a thin cushion because I was concerned that a thick one would raise my seat too high for the lumbar support in the seat back. So far, this product has been great. The honeycombs compress so that I only sit slightly higher, and they make the seat much more comfortable. My only complaint is that the pad is too small for an office chair. Ideally, its width and depth would both be 2" larger. The cushion measures 18" W x 17" D whereas the seat pad on my office chair, which is fairly typically sized, measures 20" W x 19.5" D. Being a little too small doesn't make this cushion any less comfortable, but it does cause me to have to carefully position it each time I sit down to make sure that I am centered on the cushion. I am 6'5" and 190#. I suspect that someone with a wider bottom may find the width of the cushion to be more of an issue than I do.

I like the size of the cushion. I have a rather large seat on my new desk chair and this comes close enough to covering the entire surface.The ad copy says the cushion is cooling and, oddly enough, it is. It doesn't feel like I'm sitting on an ice pack but it is sort of cooler. I don't know how they do it.Although I rated it 5 stars for thickness, it's not very thick but that's exactly what I wanted. I already had thicker cushions, which were too thick. This thickness kept me in better range for the lumbar support of my desk chair.Also, this doesn't have the feel of sitting on an overstuffed cushion, which wouldn't help my back at all. So, I'm pleased with what I got. That said, if you want to feel like you're sitting on a plump cloud, don't buy this cushion.It comes with a carrying case, which doesn't do me any good. But if you wanted to carry it with you from car to office or bleacher seat, the carrying case would come in handy.I can't comment on the effectiveness of the coccyx cutout, because, fortunately, that's not a problem for me. But I'm not aware that it's there. So, while I don't need it, it doesn't affect the seat's usefulness for me.

This cushion is everything I could have hoped for.It's crazy to even be saying this but I've been having Psaos muscle pain for months and I've only had this for a week and I can ALREADY feel a difference! This is coming from someone who sits behind a computer all day so a week is a long time of sitting in my world! I am impressed!Of all the things that make me the most happy about this - it's that the pad is SO THIN, but it's cushy and comfy and cozy and fells like it's this thick pad, but it's very sleek and thin - and it doesn't mess with your sitting height - so no need to adjust your chair.The honeycomb design is genius! I hope to get another for my car soon. And I love that I can take the cover off and toss it in the wash whenever I need to.Definitely recommend!

I had thought this cushion would give my body more support when seated, but it seems to slip around in different directions. While it is better than sitting on a hard chair alone, it doesn't give me a significant sense of cushioning or support. It probably doesn't help that I can be squirmy at times; perhaps I expected too much of the cushion.

I needed a chair cushion for a gaming chair, so most traditional ones won't work. They are usually too bulky and mess up your alignment since the chairs are ergonomic. I 100% got what I needed here and for half the price of most cushions. This is a thinner cushion, and it conforms really well to the shape and contour of my chair, or whatever shape you put it on. You would think that it may be less comfortable being so thin, but the honey comb gel design works fantastic. All the padding and comfort was gone from my chair and this feels great while also not taking away from the chair itself.
