Great scanner for the price. Comes with 2 years of free updates, that's unheard of. Can do anything and more of my other more high priced scanners. This is my 5th one and I use it the most out of all the ones I have. Works great on all makes and modles.

La x431 Pad V del lanzamiento de 2023 se actualizó a Smartlink C y ahora admite funciones remotas, así como la reprogramación J2534 en línea para más de 30 marcas, y muchas funciones avanzadas. Originalmente, me debatía entre el Pad VII y el Pad V, pero como el software del Pad V se actualizó para que sea exactamente igual al Pad VII, finalmente elegí el Pad V. Vino bien empaquetado, funciona muy bien, tal como se describe. All In One Diagnostic Scan tool!I've used OEM Matco and Snap and Autel tools (for VW, BENZ and BMW and Ford) on scan tools professionally before this one, and I can truly say this launch x431 pad v is the best I've ever used. First, I program a new BCM (Body Control Module) in a Ford F250. I am very satisfied with this smartlink 3.0, it comes with SAE J2534 Pass-Thru (J2534 Programmer) to replace the existing software & firmware and program new ECUs for BMW & Benz vehicles to fix software-controlled drivability issues and emission issues.It's diagnosis is very quickly at auto VINs and it has a easy interface with a lot of features. The live data can be graphed by topology mapping, and recorded while doing so, the full system fault scan allows you to go straight into the module you want to access with one button, to fix the problem very quickly.Bidirectional controls work quickly and easily too, and even the oil life reset is almost always useful as it will tell you how to do it if you can't do it via scan tool, which is awesome.This package include so much cables than I'll ever need. Overall this tool can replace almost all your other diagnostic tool.

I have bought a multitude of scan tools Snap-on Zeus, modus, multiple autels, torque pro. But this launch x431 pad v is the best scan tool I have ever used, because it works on everything and it does everything. Mercedes Benz vehicles their AWD vehicles seem to suffer from premature ABS wheel speed sensor failure, (which one, easily identified by mundane diagnostic units) and the W906 Sprinter series suddenly developing a 'No Crank, No Start" situation without any warning, which can be a nightmare to identify as to which component has failed. And this x431 pad v can identified problems and reprogram the component or ECU that have caused the main reason I bought this product.From reading and clearing trouble codes to reprogramming newly installed sensors or ecu's (although you will need some manufacturer info to do these last two).I am very pleased with the topology mapping of each code in the fault report.The google search,dtc library,online feedback and remote diagnostic etc help me a lot to solve problem. As an advanced OE full system scanners,it program PCM or. ECU and reprogram adaptive data.It's also detailed guidance and cover all the models. Then, I performing an EVAP test to activate valves to see if they are leaking and for program all lost keys with the precondition of knowing the anti-theft pin code on an older BMW. And then I'm blown away by its resets, calibrations, initializations and quick processing. With smartbox 3.0, the launch x431 pad v can download the OEM software from the maker's online server, and reprogram the replaced modules. Tried this launch scanner on Ford,Honda,Chevrolet,Audi,BMW & MB.So far, no problem with it.Besides,it support CANFD protocol to work Chevrolet even very new cars. This scan tool is very worthy to buy!
