DYLON Hand Dye 50g - Full Range of Colours Available! (Flamingo Pink)

It may have been the fabric or my technique, but the color dyed unevenly and was much much lighter than pictured on the packaging. I got another color in this same brand which worked much better, so it might just be this one. Overall, good product, just wish it would have turned out a little better.

First off, most folks don't realize that a packet of most dyes is enough for a yard(2 gallons of water) of fabric, AKA a small tee shirt so keep this in mind if you're planning a project.Sorry this photo is upside down but you can still see how beautiful this color is. It's a 3 yard cotton gauze kimono I made and I used 4 packs of dye. Dylon is a great brand and I prefer it to Rit for color depth and selection of colors.Disolves easily and completely. Side note: for all dye projects buy a product called Retayne, it Totally seals in your color and your dye job will Never bleed. I could wash this with whites and not have a problem.

My pink came in today!! I was so excited and did a tie dye shirt!!the result wasIf you want tips on tie dying ur shirt(here it is)Make sure your shirt is 100% cotton.I buy mine at an art store which cost $3.99 and that a good price!! Haha ..anyway use a bottle.I use my old tie dye bottle and fill it with hot water.After filling into the hot water or warm water.I add in the powder and it might look dark but when u dry the shirt afterward it look like a bright(ish) pink(kinda) but anyway I did a spiral styles (I add 2 color) blue and pink which is from Dylon.I dry it for i don't know how many minute but I have to do it 3 times because I didn't dry it with my other clothes...So yea if is still wet when it done drying make sure to dry it again because it can stain on you.(There a lot of videos on YouTube to do Tiedye styles)I think the back look more like a spiral but I'm satisfied 💕

My item did not come out even close to the color advertised. It does NOT work on anything semi synthetic.

So gay pride was coming up and I decided to DIY some shorts in multiple colors. Not knowing what I was doing' I looked at a few youtube videos to give me some inspiration and one of them mentioned this brand. I'm so pleased with this product. This color, which came out more purple on my blue denim shorts, was so pigmented and beautiful. I only had to put in maybe less then a fourth of the package and could already see the color payoff. The color dried beautifully on the shorts. I would definitely buy more of these dyes as you don't need to use to much to get the desired color. I still have like half a packet of each one I used.

I bought this to dye a scarf i had my fav color pink, to match my hat and gloves. The instructions were simple and the color came out beautifully. The only problem is the color came out much lighter than expected. Its a soft baby pink, not a deep pink as described.

The shipping came on time! Which is always a good thing! The product itself? Pretty nice,pigmented,& affordable. I want to try liquid next time, since powder is harder to use on shorts!

No matter what I did I could not get all the pigments to dissolve completely. Didn't ruin the shirts but wish it would of all dissolved. So beware.
