Supernatural: The Complete Twelfth Season [DVD]

I don`t know when I wrote in one of my earlier reviews for Supernatural that I hope they will not kill the series by running it too long. How wrong have I been. It seems to me that with every season the series is gaining momentum, becoming better and better as it gets older. With knew enemies emerging, familiar faces returning and with saving people, hunting things, the family business is still booming for the Winchester boys. And like Crowley said in this season's final episode "Well, whenever there's a world-ending crisis at hand, I know where to place my bets. It's on you, you big, beautiful, lumbering piles of flannel." Well said and there is nothing to add from my side.

Going into thirteen years now, Supernatural has been my favorite show of my entire lifetime. Nothing else has remained so consistently strong and endlessly entertaining year after year. Although available streaming and on other platforms, I have to have the Blu-ray each season to keep and enjoy--along with extra content you can't get elsewhere. It never disappoints.

So far so good. The writers of Supernatural are still creating great stories. I'm hoping the 13th season will be just as good. The only thing I was not to keen about was that Mary was back from the dead. OK for this one time but I hope that this doesn't keep on happening. That would be a sign that they are running out of ideas.

Glad I added this to the collection. I neglected keeping up with the series during the original airing, but this made for a fun binge watching weekend. From the storyline perspective, I really hated the British Men of Letters mindset, and Mary was very disappointing in general, but hey, guilty fictional pleasure overall.

Yall....you are purchasing season 12! You aren't going to watch it til it airs! So...day after an episode airs you will get to watch it. You're not just getting the interview. For years my friend kept telling me to watch and I resisted til two years ago. I'm hooked! I just love this show...serious...funny...and the relationships between characters is well built!

When it was delivered, three of the discs were rattling around. Two just somehow came loose, but the third was because the part that holds the DVD in the case was broken. However, they didn't look scratched and I hate dealing with returning a product unless necessary, so I watched them and at least they didn't skip.

Wish they offered blue ray and DVD combo option. Disc 4 (with all of the good stuff on it) won't work in my blue ray player and the extra stuff is not available on the digital copy. Luckily I was able to sneak in and use my husbands xbox one to watch the last disc and special features.

This season of supernatural was great. The dynamic of having Mary back and seeing her struggle through being alive in a time that she doesnt quite understand at first made it very interesting. I feel like while some of the seasons have seemed slow, this one kept it interesting throughout the whole season.

Well I'm guessing it's a really good Series as the Mrs watched it in less than a 3 days.

Love the box but unfortunately it was shipped from the U.S, did not expect the extra cost due to import taxes and fees.

Ordered English version, when it arrived it was American version so was locked. Had to send it back. Was very disappointed. I should have asked for Uk version.

The twelfth season of Supernatural came just in time to re-watch it before the 13th season opens on October 12 - and I am amazed by what is in the DVD - the commentaries are great in that you get to hear about the episode, working on the season, working with the whole group, the little bits and pieces we get of the deleted scenes for certain of the episodes, but the most fun is the gag reel which brings the fun to the public. The DVD is great in that you can watch all the episodes at once or the ones that you feel really strongly about - Regarding Dean, for example, or Who We Are. The craft with which the DVD is created is merely an extension of how good the season always is. A must have for fans of the series for sure.
