My Prayer Book

I absolutely love the variety of prayers and the size and portability of this little prayer book

Love this prayer book. I originally brought one at a garage sale a few years back for 50 cents. Did not realize it was a Lutheran prayer book. Started using it couple of years ago. LOVE IT! Such eloquent prayers for every imaginable situation/day/holiday/occurrence. Morning and evening prayers; dinner prayers. Bought another one for ourselves (more than 50 cents), because I was afraid I would lose the first one. Now our Episcopalian friends want them!

This is definitely a great prayer book. I ordered it quite a while ago, I’m not sure if I forgot I had it or if I forgot that I ordered it but ran across it in my stack of books and I haven’t put it down since. I Have always believed in prayers, but this book has given that a whole different meaning. I will always treasure it.

I had open heart surgery. A friend sent me a card and included in it, the prayer for after surgery. It was so beautiful and expressed everything I wanted to say; I read it every night for several weeks. She had told me what book it was from so I just had to buy a copy. The prayers are beautiful and meaningful and cover so many life situations and praise to God.

Do you want to talk about a prayer book that can literally go anywhere with you? Well, this copy is it. I love myself a nice pocket-sized hardcopy book, you'd be surprised how some can mess up the print, but they didn't here. Text is easy to read, and even with the time I've used it, it still retains that new book smell.
