Heal Yourself Reading Cards: Intuitive Guidance to Transform Your Soul (Reading Card Series) Cards – June 1, 2017

I recently bought these cards and I was astonished how durable and high quality not only the box is but the cards and guidebook themselves. The guidebook gives you a lot of insight you wouldn't normally think of. It's very detailed and even gives you action plans of how to go about applying a card to your situation or a client's situation. These cards GO IN DEPTH.When it comes to healing it talks about issues of abandonment, anxiety, abuse, sexuality, victimization, prostitution (selling yourself out; your soul), ego, how our parents ideas shaped our beliefs, self love, people pleasing the whole 9 yards. I HIGHLY recommend these tarot for healing work. I can tell they are going to be very powerful on my journey as well as your own.If you're hesitating, don't. I got more than what I paid for!

This deck caught me by surprise and I was hesitant about purchasing at first. But now that I have them I am so connected. The art is gorgeous, the keywords are thought provoking and unique. The booklet has short explanations, but often are different than my initial association to the phrase words. This provides a different perspective! For example, the home card. My initial response was different than what I later read in the booklet. It’s great because you can read however you want, but have the booklet for a perhaps different take. Cards are easy to shuffle since they aren’t super thick. I trimmed them and edged in gold Sharpie.

I saw these cards in store however my local witchcraft store was out only having the display box I immediately went online and bought this cards the artwork is beautiful there are some minor problematic elements to the artwork that I do not think we're intentional such as the only black woman on the cards being sexual like literally it's the card about sex which in and of itself is fine however that was the only black woman on any of the cards these cards continuously call me and my friends out on some of our b******* and try their best to help us work on it.

These cards are beautiful, the wording and write up explanations are really good. I do love these cards, they are a perfect size, not really big like others but much larger than regular playing cards of course. The stock paper is nice and heavy weight and finished professionally. The only thing is the cards are not in the book alphabetically so you have to go to the contents to see where the explanation for the card that was pulled is.

This oracle cards are amazing, great quality, don't doubt it, get them before they are OOP. This edition is in my personal opinion superior quality than the new release (guidebook is larger with full color images printed in better paper quality), I have both editions.

I keep this deck by my bed and I consult it every evening. The artwork is TDF and the messages are on point. The cards come on good card stock that is made to take the wear and tear of constant use. I can't say enough good about this totally gorgeous deck. You won't be disappointed or sorry if you get this deck for yourself.

This has an old world, Victorian inspired look&feel to the cards. If the cards had a voice-personality, I could imagine him as Louis from Interview with the Vampire. Most of the illustrations are female figures clad in ivory satin laced sheets and their exposed bare bosoms for all to see, if this does not offend you then go ahead and buy this deck because it is adds that dark Victorian romantic novel (slightly a hint of steampunk) but not in a distasteful cheap trampy way! It's the closest description I could think of at least in my opinion. Moving on to the guidebook, the meat of it all is around 75 pages of concise , well written detailed descriptions of individual cards along with an "action plan" that follows after you've read the message of the card. Segal has a challenge for you to meditate on and work on. It's quite an interesting way to reflect on the message itself and it makes you put yourself in the position of what the card really feels and means.I highly recommend this deck for those in need of self-reflection, integrating and accepting one's shadow or negative aspects of personality and moreover, the acceptance and loving of oneself fully without any judgement or criticism. In addition, there is also a full page dedicated page to a full color scanned photo of the actual cards. The pages are glossy and slides well to the touch.What I don't like about the deck: The ornate fleur de lis-heart pattern going on in the inner left side part of the box. I somehow find it generic and it cheapened the look of the cards. If it was consistent to the pattern found in the backing of the cards then that would have changed the look entirely. But this is only a minor nuisance and of my own personal opinion, take whatever resonates with you and leave the rest here. To me, the box is easily crushed or flattened because the delivery service gave me the box and when I unwrapped it, it already had a dent on the corner. Almost like a cut on the corners of the box. My guess is probably from the heaviness of the stuff that were on top of it. Again, in my humble opinion, I think they could have done a little bit better with the card stock too. A little flimsy and thin compared to the other decks that I have but it does not hinder how beautifully made these cards are.On a last note, I have also tried this oracle deck with the Tarot of the Vampyres by Ian Daniels and quite surprisingly both of the decks energies blends well together. I do think think that using the Secret Tarot, Dream Enchantress, Crystal Vision tarot (as an example and suggestion) can and may also be used together with this oracle deck. I absolutely love this deck. I was drawn to beautiful art on the cards, and it doesn’t disappoint. The guidebook that come with the deck I think is very helpful. The guidebook suggests certain exercises or activities, which is a nice tough. The only thing I have to say in the negative is that the cards themselves are very delicate. When shuffling they scuff very easily, and noticeably.
