Bought this as a giveaway prize for a cow-themed adult ladies event. The buckles don't actually buckle; they conceal snaps closures.It made for a nice prize and would work if used only periodically, but I cannot see it standing up more than a couple of months under the real life daily wear and tear of typical student life.

We bought this for my daughter for school. It’s held up very well. She uses it every school day and is very rough on it. I would buy another one.

This backpack is made of a sleek nylon material so it appears to be water proof. It has 4 zipper compartments, 1 large and 3 smaller. One feature I do not like about the backpack is it has “snaps” on the front of bag to close the backpack by the brown faux leather straps, however nothing lines up to actually snap the backpack shut. The print is cute and I like the black, white and faux leather brown look together. It is a little smaller than I anticipated also, however it can fit my laptop, a nursing book, a charger, a phone charger in the biggest pouch as well as 2 water bottles in side pockets and various things in the 2 front zippered pockets. I did pull a laptop sleeve out of another backpack and inserted it in this one to give better insulation for laptop. Overall it is an okay quality book bag. Definitely will get me through at least a year in nursing school.
