Caribbean Party

Well Music is certainly subjective. This was rated 5 stars by 5 people, and if you want to listen to at least 75% cruise ship orchestra caribbean, this is the one for you! Personally, I found it very disappointing. In only several pieces does the real steel drum music come out, and I would suppose it was recorded from a few sources to get so much orchestra included.I have a slow dial-up connection, so I am not able to review the music before buying. So...you will get burned once in a while.I'll rate this one at 2 stars, and thats generous. Incidently, I know what real steel drum music sounds like, this is not, except for the several pieces I mentioned out of the 12 included. To each his own! If you REALLY want some steel Drum music, get STEEL DRUM GOLD by Bob Lyons. This is the real deal, and beautiful too!

Great CD for when I'm entertaining in my own paradise (backyard). Apply your sunscreen, fill the blender, put some shrimp on the bar-b, insert the CD, press play and let the party begin.Item was as described by seller and shipping was right on point, as a matter of fact I received the CD earlier than expected.Would buy from this seller again.

I gave this rating as 5 stars~perfect because this CD is absolutely perfect! The music is soothing and reminds me of my visits to the Caribbean... we played it this summer quite a lot for our pool parties/gathering of friends for cookouts. There are no questionalble lyrics, so everyone young and old enjoyed the festive background music, Many commented on it and asked the name of the CD! I would highly recomend it for everyone, especially restaurant, store, business owners who want to play background tunes for customers without overwhelming and distracting noise of the usual radio music. I'd buy it all over again if I didn't already own it!

We hold an annual pig roast fundraiser at our home. This was great background music.

I know & like all the songs: especially Jump In The Line & Conga. Every song is entirely instrumental which I like & are nice arrangements. Wish there were more steel drums but I still love this CD: it's upbeat & since I have most of the lyrics memorized, I just sing with the music - sort of like karaoke for me since no one's singing on cd! :) I actually have been to St. Thomas Virgin Islands & I did hear some of these songs. I found it fun & festive. Great background music for a party.

Background music for our tropical themed party - it's great and not tiresome because each of the songs have a fresh sound even though they all have a reggae vibe.

These are the sounds of the music on a cruise! You can close your eyes and see yourself on the cruise dancingby the pool having the time of your life!

Caribbean Party CD is great music.. love listening when we are at the pool...
