1-1/2" PVC Ball Valve (2-Pack), Shut-Off Valve with Easy to Rotate and Excellent Handle, Rated at 150 PSI, 1 1/2 inch Socket

I received my AIPOR 1-1/2" PVC Ball Valve (2-Pack) Shut-Off Valve today. I Was concerned with some of the reviews I read about the fit, although the product specification stated made to fit PVS SCH 40 1 1/2" pipe, which is the pipe I purchased them for. My first impression was with the weight of the package/box. I thought these were too heavy to be my valves, but no, they were the valves. Fit was perfect for 1 1/2" PVC pipe, were heavy, and appeared to be made quite well; one of the biggest reasons I purchased them was for the easy turning handle; they did not disappoint, turned firmly but not ridiculous like many other valves. I still need to install one but do not anticipate any issues; I am thrilled with the purchase.

I installed one of these ball valves during while replacing a sewage pump. The valve has a longer handle than ones in local big-box stores. This will make it easier to close the valve for maintenance.

Like the hanldes. Easier to turn.

These came as a pair so I got two of them in the package. I guess one for the right side of the pipe and one for the left side. I haven't installed them yet as I'm told i need special glue, waterproof glue which makes sense as these are for water pipes. The handles are nice and big- easy for my deformed hand to turn. As soon as I get the glue I'll fix the leak i have. Shipping was fast. No instructions came with these but I'll figure it out.

Saved me about $45 under what four of these would have cost me at Lowe's. Ran pvc plumbing when I set up my pool and needed a way to disconnect water flow. These worked perfectly.

What a surprise that the off and on action is so smooth and easy to use. Sturdy and overall great value.

First order received did not fit 1-1/2" dia. Sch 40 pipe. The valve body ID was larger than the OD of the pipe by approx 1/8". I sent it back and Amazon refunded my money. Supplier reached out and after some correspondence back & forth confirming sizes sent me replacement valves at no extra cost. The valves received fit the Sch 40 pipe perfectly and all is good. I gave the supplier 5 stars for correcting the matter and doing the right thing even though i had ended up buying the valves at a big box store because I needed and could not wait.

I purchased those valves for my hydroponic system and after cleaning the valves, they got very stiff even with water in them. Did not use.
