Paying a relatively low price for this mini hifi I didn't expect much from it. How wrong was I. We have owned it now for just under 2 weeks and we have put it at the top of a book case. The hifi and speakers have a smart modern look and the sound is excellent for its size. It's output is almost too powerful and we often find ourselves turning it down to volume setting 1 or 2 when we just want a little background music When you want it to crank it up and dance round the living room 15 - 20 is more than enough. There is plenty of base and treble to be heard. There are enough variation across the 6 sound presets for everything we have listened to so far. In fact, we listen to it every day and are slowly working our way through our extensive CD collection. A collection that hasn't been played for several years. The CD player copes with the occasional scratch or fingerprint without jumping. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent and we had no difficulty getting it connected to an android phone. The ability to skip tracks or fast forward/rewind them with the remote control is very useful. We haven't used its FM radio because the signal here isn't strong enough. That brings me to the only downfall I have found with the hifi. That is the absence of a socket for an external FM ariel which might get us a signal. The remote control is compact but eassy to understand and use. It has all the functions it needs.In summary, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little hifi. It is loud enough to fill a large room if need be and produces a nice tone from CDs and devices attached to it via Bluetooth. It also has a line-in and USB socket as well.

Unfortunately, my unit came defective with bad internal wiring, with one speaker almost never connecting. When it did temporarily sit right (after much careful wire manipulation), the sound quality was pretty poor and dull (even for a low cost unit). With only factory preset eq settings, this was not something that could be remedied. As it was only just purchased, I returned it for a refund, due to the aforementioned defect, spent a little extra and got a lovely sounding Panasonic in its place. It is worth noting, that upon returning the unit, the manufacturer did reach out, so they are responsive, which is good to see.

First of all, when I bought this CD player, I was a bit concerned about the small speakers; would they be powerful enough? Would they produce a good sound? My concerns were quickly dispelled. I was amazed at the sound quality. The EQ presets are excellent: The range of sound is great. Secondly, I have not yet come across a CD or CDR in my collection that this player refuses to play, or has trouble with. Finally, the volume control is almost analogue. the volume increases and decreases very gradually, something I haven't experienced in other CD players. Usually, for example, volume 5, say, might be too quiet and volume 6 would be too loud, that doesn't happen with this player, giving the listener the perfect volume, absolutely brilliant! I can't praise this CD player enough. If you're looking to buy a CD player, look no further than this one.

This stereo is really good sound wise. For something rather small, it really delivers great sound. Im truly impressed. It looks exactly like the pictures (unlike some ive seen on this reviews) and it plays cds, Bluetooth and radio really well. Im extremely impressed and happy with my stereo. THIS IS WORTH SPENDING YOUR MONEY ON. SO VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.
