Mighty Max Battery12V 22AH GEL Replacement Battery for Schumacher DSR ProSeries PSJ-2212 Booster

I just purchased this to replace the previous Mighty Max battery that’s been in my race car for 4 years. It has plenty of power for a vehicle with low overall power demands and it’s outlasted several name brand racing batteries I’ve used in the same car over the years. The depth of threads on the lugs is slightly shallower on this new one so I had to cut down the screws for my terminals but otherwise it was the expected easy install.

Great product . Came semi charged , very little time to get fully charged once installed . With this battery , jump box has never performed this well until now .

Bought this battery in November 2024 and used it to replace the OE battery in a DSR battery jump starter. Made the swap and charged it up to 100%.Tried to use it for the first timer today, 03 March 2025 to start a bmw X5 diesel. It was at 87% charge, which would not normally be a problem but this would not turn it over even once. Granted, it was 10 degrees Fahrenheit outside (and first time I have ever had to jump this vehicle that I have had for about 3 years).Took it in the house and charged it to 100%, back out to the car with the same results.This battery had slightly higher capacity than the one it replaced, but I don't recall the brand in their originally. The jump starter as shipped lasted me about 7 years and many many jumps. I will seek out a replacement from that brand.Ended up starting it with one of my kids little Lithium jump starter packs (avapow) which I was surprised by.The return window ended Jan 31st.Mighty max has a one year warranty but unless you are perhaps retired it is not easy to use. You must first get someone to test the battery and print out a failing result, then call and get an RA number, then pack it in the original; packaging (you have saved that for a year, right?), and send it at your expense to Mighty Max.

Exact size and comparable connectors to replace an old battery in a portable auto jumper unit. Battery came charged to 75%; it quickly increased to 100%. Properly packaged.

This is a replacement battery for a Jump-Pack. Only time will tell if it lasts as long as the original did.

Bought for DSR charger PSJ-2212 to replace the original Schumacher lead acid battery. Although the terminals on this replacement battery are in the middle of the rectangular opening and the original Schumacher terminals are on the furthest inward part of the opening, the charger cables were able to reattach without incident. Battery came almost fully charged, just a few percent off full.
